"You're Never Too Old to Make a Difference"

With the passage of years come the gifts of wisdom of experience, of respect.

The changing of the seasons assings a deeper purpose to life... a wider sense of its truest meaning.

It teaches through trial and error not just to live for oneself, but for others as well.

It lifts off all past restrictions with the challenge that you can still do everything you want... If you only put your mind to it.

It encourages you to keep your brain active, to keep your thoughts positive. It laughs a lot, plays a lot, love a lot.

As the hands of time tick on... moments become more precious, not because the hours are moving by more quickly, but because you've gained a higher sense of how truly wonderful life is.

We all become different people as we grow older, with different hopes and dreams, goals and achievements, memories and feelings. No one can ever say that, as a person, they are all they can be, for its is then that they have stopped growing from within. We must continue to grow, to dream, to make new memories, and to do whatever gives us peace within ourselves. NEVER MIND IF SOMETIMES PEOPLE LAUGH AT YOU WHEN TRIED TO SHARE WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT.

Controlling your Destiny....

The only thing that stands between you and your destiny, is if you feel that you have limitations. If you begin to doubt yourself, you doubt your ability to make your dreams come true. Your destiny will be waiting for you on the other side of the mist of indecision and self-doubt.

We are not born doubting ourselves or believing that we have limitations. Have you ever watched small children? They are filled with boundless energy, confidence and curiosity. They are not afraid of failing until someone inadvertently teaches them to be afraid. That someone could be their friends, classmates, teachers, daycare workers or even well meaning parents. Once we learn about the possibility of failure, our destiny becomes limited because we believe we have limited potential, therefore we form our own limited expectations.

As Theodore Roosevelt said, "Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure."

You have the ability to re-claim your destiny by envisioning your dreams and goals.

You can create the life or destiny you dream of .

Did you realize that even Colonel Sander (Kentucky Fried Chicken) faced repeated numbers of rejections before he finally found someone willing to take a chance on his "dream"?

He refused to allow other peoples expectations or judgments to determine his destiny.

Consider Albert Einstein, he was labeled as stupid, slow and unable to read, and thus was thought would never become anything. All the time his dyslexia was interfering with his learning making things three times as difficult for him. He did not listen or believe the doubters in his life and went on to become a great man.

Both of these men refused to allow other peoples expectations or judgments to determine their destiny or define their dreams. They created the destiny they wanted. The destiny they had always dreamed of and pictured in their mind's eye.

"If you want to be happy, be." ~ Tolstoy

" God has entrusted me with myself." ~ Epicteus

What I feel Tolstoy and Epicteus were trying to say in their quotations, is that you can be happy if you want to be. It is your choice. You are the one who decides to be happy by focusing on the present - living, loving and achieving in the present. Focus on being happy. Focus on being the person you want to be, then your are creating your own destiny.

Everyday you are alive is a miracle - a priceless gift that you must mould into the future you desire. You should spend less time worrying about things you cannot change, regretting choices you made instead of spending time appreciating what you have and the possibilities of creating and achieving even more. To become fearless, you must spend less time being fearful or depressed and more time being joyous and doing the things you wish to do. That way , you spend the majority of your time living your dream and less time getting ready to live.

"Dost though love life?

Thy do not squander time for that's the stuff life is made of."

~ Benjamin Franklin

"Many people die with their music still in them.

Why is this so?

Too often it is because they are always getting ready to live....

in stead of actually living."

~ Oliver Wendell Holmes.

The act of Doing is the cornerstone of creating your own, personal destiny. True joy is in the dreaming, imagining, considering and conceiving what you want. The actions you take produce the outcome of your destiny.

"Life is not lost by dying;

life is lost minute by minute, day by dragging day,

in all the thousand small uncaring ways."

~ Stephen Vincent Benet

"Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend."

~Laertius Diogenes

Imagine your destiny. Focus on what your dreams are, then create your destiny with Pride. Others may try to downplay or ruin your dream by trying to steal or belittle your pride. You must have passion, resolve, dreams innovations and last but not least.... ethics.

"Passion is the fire that energizes your life,

and without passion, without fire, without energy,

your true destiny will always be unfulfilled.

It will die of indecision, inaction and indifferences."

~ Rex Bennett

When you couple talent, dedication, hard work and passion for what you are doing, your success will arrive sooner than you think. You must have passion connected with your dream. Passion, as you well know, is that inner force that drives you to be the very best that you can be. Never let anyone steal your passion for life!

For example, one of my good friends has the passion, dedication and talent for making beautiful dolls. She spends hours on end to ensure she has paid attention to every detail perfectly. The dolls actually looks real! She doesn't mind the hard work necessary to do such a great job, because she has that inner passion guiding her towards her dream, her destiny.

Another example could be myself. People ask me all the time why I won't get an Administrators degree or a PhD. so that I can "move up" in the education field. The problem is, I don't want to move up, primarily because I love what I do working with children on such an intimate level. I would have to give up my wonderful experiences with the children to become the disciplinarian. I love the hugs I get walking down the hall, the cards they draw for me, and the fact that every time they see me somewhere (even out in public - which drives MY kids crazy) they yell out my name and usually grab me and to give me a big hug. (yes, their parent's do often wonder what's going on if they don't know me.. LOL)

My passion is helping children - especially those that everyone seems to have given up on, or those who are going through a rough time in their life and need an advocate to intervene on their behalf in order to help them out.

Whatever it is that you decide to do in life, even if it is just a temporary job until you are able to actually begin to accomplish your dream, do it with passion and enthusiasm .... even if it is something you have to do, rather than want to do.

"Wherever you go, go with all your heart"

~ Confucious

What if you have no idea what your passion is or how to tap into it? ....

If you have a goal or a dream, approach it, and everything you do, do with a good attitude...

If you do this, your passion will come and find you.

"Life is a daring adventure or nothing at all."

~ Helen Keller

"Passion is like genius, a miracle."

Rolland

"Nothing great in the world has ever been accomplished

without passion."

~G.W.F. Hegel

"Only passion,

great passion can elevate the soul

to great things."

~Dennis Diderot

"What is passion? ...

Most of your being is at rest, un lived.

In passion the body and the spirit seek self-expression...

The more extreme and the more expressed passion is,

the more unbearable does life seem with out it,

we are partly dead and that soon, come what may,

we will be wholly so."

~John Boorman

Encouraging Words

Imagine how great it would be to have someone providing you with a constant supply of encouragement. When you get in the habit of encouraging yourself, that is exactly what you can have. All day long, you are thinking and saying things to yourself. You have the power to choose precisely what those thoughts and those words will be.Choose to make them positive, uplifting, and encouraging. Make good use of the thousands of opportunities you get each day to provide yourself with support and direction. When you catch yourself mentally beating up on yourself, decide to stop such destructive behavior right then and there. Instead, give yourself a few words of real, sincere encouragement and notice how much more energized and effective you immediately feel. In addition, get in the habit of offering encouragement to others whenever you get the chance. That will make you more likely to send even more encouragement in your own direction.During each waking moment, you are constantly thinking .Choose to use all that dialogue to move yourself and your world in a positive direction.

or talking to yourself or others.

Be Full Of Yourself

Be full of yourself
You are perfect
You are divine
You are made of love
You are born of light
Anytime anyone anywhere disagrees
Get quiet as air
Face the silence
Open your arms to the breeze
Protest back if that is what you need
But I always have a better time
Closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep

Be full of yourself
Self fulfillment
God takes care of her cell
Self sustained self enjoyment
It is ok to let others see how special you are
You can’t be poor enough to make someone else rich
It is alright to know yourself as God knows you
You can’t be depressed enough to make someone else happy
It is great to give yourself the love you deserve
You can’t be sick enough to make someone else well
It is just fine to shine your light upon the earth
Why let others keep you from your light with their hell?
Remember the man on the throne is crying all alone
But is only in need of himself

Be full of yourself
Ground the unfamiliar heavy energy out
Take your mind straight to your soul and fill up
Before you are told who you are
And you believe it because you forgot how to love
The old must be released so the new can enter

Be full of yourself
You are a lover
You are a giver
You are a winner
Buy yourself a pretty dress
Drive on down to the beach
Dance yourself out in the wet moonlight
Beyond the reach of any touch that doesn’t leave you feeling loved

Be full of yourself
Don’t ever worry
You have yourself
You can do anything
All you need to do is realize you can,
Remember it, breathe it, radiate it
You are the harmony you came to earth to experience
You are the place where all possibility dreams
Galaxies, planets, stars all hold themselves deep within you
Congratulate yourself and allow yourself to receive
The unconditional love you breathe

How To Get Happy * Why aren't people doing it *

Happiness. It's what I want. It's what you want. It's what we strive for. We tell ourselves all day long, every day of our lives, that it's what we need. But we're not really happy. We try to be happy, but we can't seem to find that little piece to make it right. We search for happy in our daily routines, sifting through all of our relationships and indulgences until we think we've found it. We tell ourselves that we'll be happy when we meet the right partner, or when we get more money, or when we feel better. But when that 'when' comes along, it only makes us happy for a little while.

So what will make us happy?

There are hundreds of books that hand over the secret to happiness. Many of these books were written over a millenium ago. I can only speculate that seeking happiness has been the goal of man since his inception; thereby, making him seek answers. And through history, many great thinkers have sought after the formula for happiness, and when they've discovered it, they wrote about it. So I have to believe that when one great thinker delved into what would make him happy, and found the truth, and then wrote about it, it set the groundwork for others to follow.

So this made me think. Yes, I was thinking again, and here's what I discovered.

Great thinker A, who lived 3000 years ago, needed to feel happy. He searched for answers through prayer and through deep reflection. And because he was desperate to find his answers, he was led to a teacher---a scholar of deep spiritual insight. He visited with the teacher, and he studied with the teacher. He applied what the teacher said to fit his perception and life, and used it to become happy. He didn't give up, in spite of not getting immediate results; but instead, he continued this teaching and practiced it until he saw results.

While this was happening, he thought about how the teacher's insights and theories were correct, but he threw a spin on it. He found that the teachings helped him but not in the exact way that it was taught to him. He studied, learned, applied, practiced, and formulated his own theory, extracting what he needed and expounding on it; hence, he formulated his own theory.

Now, down the road in time, Great thinker B comes along, and he's searching for answers. He prays and digs deep to find happiness and is led to the studies of Great thinker A. He studies the teachings of Great thinker A and agrees with what's been written. He understands the theory and applies Great thinker's technique to his everyday life. He's relentless in his pursuit to find happiness and practices the theories until he gets results. It takes a while, but he's determined to find his answers. And when he does, he expounds on what he learned from Great thinker A and formulates his opinions from what he learned, and he writes his findings to help others.

So far, each Great thinker needed to find answers, and in their search for the truth, found a teacher who once was looking for the same answers. Each teacher wrote what their findings were, all in an effort to help mankind. The only difference was that each had a variation of the formula. Their principals were the same, and the results were the same, but due to their individual perceptions, the road to getting there was a bit different. Each was correct, because each of them studied what the previous one taught and came up with the same results---although how they got the results may have varied a bit. When they discovered the truth, they wrote what they learned in order to help someone else.

It's kind of like this. Your friend gives you a recipe for meatloaf, and after making it and perhaps screwing it up, you learn and find a different way or a better way of making it. You have the formula, only now you add to it to make it your own. Well, this is what our history's great thinkers did in their pursuit to find happiness. Each thinker took the formula and worked with it until they got the results that they wanted.

This has been going on since the inception of man. Man's quest to find happiness has led them to someone who had discovered the truth and who was willing to share and teach what they had discovered. So what did all these teachers find? Each teacher's answer to being happy was this:

1--learning the truth about who man is in correlation to his divine source or God

2--learning that they are in their human form for the purpose of creating and experiencing

3--our thoughts dictate our life's experience

Let's take a look at Jesus. He was born a prodigy. He was capable of understanding the inner makings of spirit and man at a young age. He traveled extensively through all of Europe; studying, learning, and practicing the theories of the greatest masters. In return, he taught the masters what he knew. Each master knew the formula to happiness, but had a different map of how to obtain it. Their principals were identical, and the results were identical. The only thing that may have been different was the 'how'.

So how do we find our happiness?

We have thousands of years of masters teaching the exact same principals to life's secrets, only each teacher expounded just a little more about how they got their results. This means that although there are hundreds of books written by great thinkers, each book might offer a bit more information then the next. Don't you see? We each have something to bring to the table. If we would take the time to read from these marvelous masters, and then take the necessary time to study and practice what they've written, then tweaking it to suit our perceptions, we will find happiness.

The secret to happiness, and every great thinker has formulated this conclusion, is to change your thoughts. They coupled this with meditation and deep reflection. They all knew that our thoughts create who we are and our life's experience. And they all can't be wrong. Writings, dating back to 3000 years ago, then followed by other numerous great minds, such as Jesus and Buddah, and then other great minds of today, all can't be wrong. It's even written in the Bible that we are what we think. How did people from 2000 years ago and throughout history know this? Because we all share a common answer to the one of the two most asked questions of all time.

There are great books that are written by people who have searched and studied and practiced, without giving up, the practices of great thinkers; and in return, wrote how they got their results. Now, you may be thinking, but Val, there are thousands of 'how to' books. Who do we believe? How do we choose? Here's my answer, and I'm using this as an example.

I've studied agoraphobia for years. I consider myself an expert. My desire to get well was so strong that I searched and studied and didn't give up until I had results. It took a very long time, but that's usually the case. Results rarely happen overnight.

Over a year ago, I wrote a book about it. In the book, I tell the story of how I was led to write my book. But here's the thing. While I was sick, and before I knew the truth about the spirit world and God, and about how our negative thoughts bring negative manifestations, I found out the truth through my personal journey. In other words, through my desperation, I went to God, in spite of not believing in Him, and asked for answers. And because I was so desperate to get well, and because I was desperate to have my answers, I didn't give up. And by not giving up, my thought was on one thing all day long, and that one thing was my wanting to be well. And because I wanted to be well that's all I kept telling myself. And because I was relentless, I got what I wanted---I was led to find out the truth about God and the spirit world, but mostly, I was led to find out who I was and what my purpose was. The result? I was led to read various books which stated the same thing about the human thought process. I knew that they all couldn't be wrong. So I kept digging, and asking, and searching, and I got answers. And the result, I got well.

You see, when I began to see the results of getting well, I needed to know why and how. I needed more knowledge. I asked for guidance to learn more, and I was led to read books by some of these great masters and various passages of the Bible. What I read in the Bible matched up to what I did to get well, and that made me think. I told myself that if the Bible states that what a man thinks he will become, and if it was written over 2000 years ago, and if I got well because of how I was thinking, then the Bible was correct. So I expounded what I knew and wrote about it.

In your quest for finding out who you are, why you're here, and how can you be happy, you can never give up. This is where most people make their mistakes. They give up when they don't see immediate results. People, you have to be real. If you go on a diet, do you expect to lose 30 pounds in a day? Of course not, so expecting to find the answers to life's biggest question won't happen in a day.

After Master of the Realm was published, I heard about The Secret, The Laws of Attraction, and The Power of Intention, and I ran out to get the books. And sure enough these writers had expounded on what I had known.

The Law of Attraction, by Jerry and Esther Hicks, is an amazing book. I've read it twice. I also read their latest book, Money and the Law of Attraction, which I highly recommend. While reading these books, I grew more fascinated and more hopeful. You see, what I discovered on my own and had written about, Jerry and Esther had concurred. The only difference was that they elaborate details of how to change our thoughts.

So, how do you choose the right books to learn from? Ask, and you will receive. Contemplate on finding the truth. Go to your divine source for direction. Seek answers and don't give up until you find them. And read. Read alot. Read all the books you can get your hands on until you find the one that fits you the best.

A Fairytale

There is nothing in life that love cannot change. When we feel love, our hearts feel much lighter. Very nice words Isn't it! That love can fill your heart so much fulfillment and seems your world stop and you don't even care everything surrounds you, and seems you are in the story of a fairytale that will end happily ever and after ...

But why all of a sudden this love has always an ending with saying Goodbye...
We started saying a simple h
ello and become lovers, changing sweet words to each other including the most important three words :

"I LOVE YOU"

And there is a time when we ended conversations our saying bye and I love you is mostly un-ended. Very sweet moment that I can not forget during that time coz love is there between us....

Until one day my fear is come that our un-ended bye to each other has to come to an end with a single word only "GOODBYE" and not to follow the word

"I LOVE YOU"...

It's so hard to explain the feelings of leaving and separating from someone you love still, but the truth saying goodbye feel cuts like a knife and stab your hearts a thousand times... I don't know why, and it's so hard to explain. Why should I feel this way, with a heart full of pain? So much to consider, in this our little affair was ended this way so fast, and it goes with saying,

"Life can be so unfair".

And thinking all that's been spoken, Rationalize it, to keep my heart from being broken. There is so much question in my mind begin with the words,

"Why's, How's and Where's"

But they are all left unanswered. Well every moment for me now is like a nightmare always sparking sad memories.

I have here in net not once but twice having a broken hearted, and at the end, feeling of guilt incurred with me and to blame my self why I've learned them to love and why I have to believe that virtual love will end in a happy ending story like when I was a kid and reading so many fairytales book, assuming that can happen within me someday... I bet this sad memories of mine is not that easy to forget, time can tell, time can heal; When? I don't know' but I have to be strong and move on to fast as much as I can until my heart is ready again, it will get better and it just takes time. I know it sucks to remember stuff you'd rather forget, I'm just going to sit back and let whatever happens to happen... enjoy my life with friends and let God drive for my wheel of life ... nothing else I can do! And for my ended love thanks for everything, there is no regret that i gave my love for you, the only regret is,

"You are not meant for me",

Soon you will realize that somehow you will understand how pure my love I have given you ...
Take no offense to both of you; you don't deserve my love indeed...

Good luck!!!

Cheating is not a caught in the moment thing if you are really into
your significant other, you miss them when you are not with them, you
don't look for a way to hurt or deceive them.

So, are cheaters born cheaters, or do certain situations cause people
to cheat? Probably a little bit of both. Here are some situations that
make people cheat:

1. Bored

I'd say this is the most common reason that people cheat. It's tough to
keep that edge throughout a relationship. Things start off grand and
then level off and then you both realize that it's still real life.
When you meet someone else, that inaugural excitement of a new
relationship kicks back in.

2. Dependence

At first glance, cheating seems like independent behavior. It could be
interpreted as doing what you want, when you want. But I would argue
that cheating is a dependent behavior. A cheater is dependent because
they are not strong enough to break up with their significant other in
order to get with the new person.

3. Confusion

Sometimes life or a particular situation can get to you. When the
perfect storm of confusion is going on in your head, you make mistakes.

4. Because They Let You

If any girl ever cheated on me, I'd break up with her immediately.
Forgiving a cheater is putting up with it, and starts a vicious cycle.
That person who cheated may lose respect for you and might continue to
cheat-because they know they can get away with it, because you'll
continue to take them back.

5. Nurturing

If someone is mistreating you, then your first instinct is to get away
from him or her. But sometimes it's not that simple-maybe you are
raising kids together. If you feel trapped in a bad relationship, it's
only natural that you will run to the open arms of a person who treats
you well.

6. Revenge

This is quite simple- an eye for an eye. Cheat on them if they cheat on
you. If they continuously hurt you or abuse you in some way, you do it
to get them back.

7. Confirmation of Attractiveness

Sometimes when you're in a long relationship, or if your significant
other is taking you for granted, you begin to wonder if you're still
attractive. Perhaps, because you were out on the dating circuit, you
felt more attractive when you were single. If you have an affair,
you've proven that a new person can be attracted to you.

8. The Thrill

Some people just enjoy the thrill of cheating: running around secretly,
risking getting caught, andcreating thrilling moments with a forbidden
romance.

9. They Don't Consider It Cheating, Even Though You Might

Relationships have that grey area, usually right before you become
exclusive. He thinks date #4 is when you're "together," and you think
date #2 is when you're "together." If you haven't talked about
exclusivity, someone may think they are well within their rights to see
other people, even though the other person in the relationship may not.

I don't understand why people don't break up as soon as they have an
urge to cheat. Is it natural to have temptation, or is temptation a
sign that the relationship is losing its fire? What reasons would you
add to this list, and do you disagree with any? If you've ever cheated,
why did you do it? Could you forgive a cheater? If you are single, but
seeing a person who is in a committed relationship, does that make you
a cheater?
