"Set Your Goals"

Set your goal, go like google

Is your goal big enough? Is it possible that you have set your career sights far too low? After studying many of the world’s most successful businesswoman and men, it was found that a common thread in all their stories – they all had inspiring visions and dared to dream big.

In the mid-nineties, two scruffy college students in Stanford University named Larry Page and Sergey Brin had a dream of organizing all the world’s information and making it universally accessible. What was born out of their small dorm room in Stanford is an internet search engine they called GOOGLE. Brin and Page have now employed more than 10 000 people worldwide in a research company. Millward Brown puts Google at number one in an annual top 100 global brand power list for the second year in a row. Their dream is now worth an estimated R688 Billion, affording them a personal wealth of R37 Billion each.

Frances Hodgson Burnett said, “At first people refused to believe that a strange new thing can be done, and then they begin to hope it can be done, them they see it can be done, then it is done, and all the world wonders why it was not done centuries ago.” Dreaming big is a prerequisite if you want to shift the world around you. It was our elder statesman Nelson Mandela who said, “there is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” Outlined below are four key values necessary for the accomplishing the dream you have for your personal brand.

1. Intention – it is the setting of an intention that will call in wonder resources, opportunities and people. What do you intend to do, create or accomplish? You also want to have deeper, meaningful intentions about how you live.

2. Integrity – if you were to survey big dreamers on the qualities that they value most, at the top of the list is usually integrity. Keeping your word and delivering on your promises is essential.

3. Do Something – it is essential that you put everything you have learned into an action plan. Without action, we are just dreamers. Taking action and working hard gives you brand power.

4. Build you dream team – once you know what you want to accomplish, develop a team of supporters. Begin with one person who believes in you and your dream and then seek out others. Make sure these team members are clear about your strengths and weaknesses and are prepared to support.

Irrespective of your current plight in life, cultivate a dream large enough to inspire passion and go make it happen. Stay blessed!!

"A Dream Come True"

FOLLOW YOUR DREAM

Trouble arrives in measures, and we stack it up real high, until we're convinced,we have no reason to try.If you feel defeated, you're absolutely wrong, for if you follow your dream, you could never lose for long.Ignore the minor set-backsthat pile up and trouble you,or you will build a mountain, out of the stones hurled at you.The future holds great promise, your destiny unknown, but God is always helping, and you're never alone.Soar bravely toward your goal.Let nothing darken the way.You can change your tomorrow,if you seek your dream today.

You may get a lot of negative
feedback from others,
and so much happens in life
to block the road you wish to travel.
But you must dream anyway
and cherish your dreams
as they come from your soul
and are the blueprint
of who you are.
What's more, they represent the direction
you should take on earth.
Let your heart set your goals
and remain dedicated to them.

"Don't be afraid to reach for your dreams"

Achievements

What does that mean?
The opposite of failure
Who judges the call
A life time of achievements
Large and small
Do they mean a damn thing
When you are taking a fall
How do we judge a good life
Is it really that easy
To say what all
A person has accomplished
And all they have failed in
Achievements are maybe moments
We feel we have finished
Completed a task of life
We are never really achieved
Until we leave this particular
Game of life we play
Whatever we have done or not
We never stop learning
To be here each day we are
Is an achievement
A chance to achieve and fail again
Yet all we really need to do
Is be here in the moment.
