My 5 Categories of the Beautiful

My 5 Categories of the Beautiful

Well this is not your common lifestyle page in the magazines or newspapers or showbiz bulletins.

I wonder how you categorize beauty. But these are my five categories of what is beautiful.

1. An image of general acceptability : There is this immediate perceptible sense of acceptability for a person's image, character and attitude.

2. Self confidence and inner beauty : Unlike the first and the rest, this is a function that is internal but projected for others to perceive.

3. Beholder's preference of certain physical attributes: This is an external function of the beholder's taste for beauty. While this is the common view of beauty, this is so influenced by popular media stereotypes of beauty, which is shaped by the dominant Western culture.

4. Warmth and capacity for good relations : Unlike the first, this is a function of interaction rather than perception

5. Zest (spirit) in life : I would include here (a) physical energy and healthy body (b) active sexual life,(c) positive view of life and joyfulness, (d) genuine interest in people, (e) devotional spiritual life, and (f) intentional care of personal image.

Obviously there is a degree of subjectivity to all these categories. Whichever you apply.

God in the Bible never gave us definitions of what is beautiful. It must be borne of our conventions of perception. When he created things, he said, "It was good." Everything was created good and thereby intended to be beautiful.

BEAUTY AND BEYOND IT...

Beauty lies within

Beauty lies in the specific looks of a person, rather than the object, because different people feel beauty in different things. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Beauty is eternity gazing at itself in a mirror. The beauty of the world has two edges, one of laughter, one of anguish, cutting the heart asunder. The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

B
eauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart. For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it. Poetry lifts the veil from the hidden beauty of the world, and makes familiar objects be as if they were not familiar.” Beauty is one of the rare things that do not lead to doubt of God. I’m tired of all this nonsense about beauty being only skin-deep. That’s deep enough. What do you want—an adorable pancreas ?

I
t is not sufficient to see and to know the beauty of a work. We must feel and be affected by it. Beauty seen is never lost, God’s colors all are fast. When a woman isn’t beautiful, people tell her : You have lovely eyes, you have lovely hair. Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not.

B
eauty is not real. Beauty only exists in perception. Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clear to the bone. Beauty Parlor: A place where women curl up and dye. The beauty of male has not yet been portrayed by the only one who can do so-the female. By plucking her petals, You do not gather the beauty of the flower.Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old. She was a beauty in her youth a fact which she alone remembers.

WHAT MAKES A BEAUTIFUL PERSON

A thing of beauty is a joy forever..."

For eons, people have been trying endlessly to define beauty. Many words are synonymous to it, many people have been attached to it. Here's some definition of beauty, othrwise known as Pulchritude!

A truly beautiful person possessess....

PATIENCE. Isn't it nice for a person to have grace under pressure? To still remain cool amid a difficult situation? Someone who thinks before acting?

UNDERSTANDING. You'd easily fall for someone who understands you, whom you could easily relate to and entrust your whole life to! Someone kind enough to accept you for who you are, and ask you to accept him for who he is!

LOVE. The inevitable factor - someone with so much love inside with which he's willing to share to the world makes up one attractive person.

CREATIVITY and CONFIDENCE. Someone who can change the color from gloomy to bright certainly possesses the trait of someone beautiful! And of course, it all depends on how well you carry yourself! Charm begins with Confidence!

HUMILITY. When you know you are great and you don't let it go to your head, then it makes everyone go crazier about you.

RESPECT. Beautiful people do not only respect others, but they highly respect themselves as well. They know the value of dignity and self-righteousness. They know how to respond to any situation and what their limitations are.

TRUTH. Beauty is truth and purity. Someone who is truly beautiful would never hide the truth. He knows that truth is the color of beauty.

UTTER SIMPLICITY. A ton of makeup couldn't hide the ugliness in you! So keep it simple and let your beauty show and blow them away with nothing added!

DEDICATION. A truly beautiful person is dedicated - to God, to his dreams, to his loved ones and to himself! He knows that discipline is the number one essential in Beauty.

EMPOWERED. Of course, every beautiful person is oozing with power! He stands by his wise principles in life and always fights for what is right! He's never stubborn, but open-minded and strong
