Make A Difference

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

As one that does care, I say to those that are quick to judge,I helped save a life this night. With the knowledge at hand, total respect for all,and malice toward none,I ask-What have YOU done? STEP UP. Make a difference. I have. I will continue to be the person I've always been. Be slow to judge. Quick in your desire to help. The impression you leave will for all time be your imprint. Perfection is impossible. The want and action to be the best for yourself, for others, for posterity....is "YOU". Make yourself matter. Those that should-can. Those that can-do. Whatever is necessary, for good to survive.~~~~

"Sharing,Giving,Loving"

Sharing Who You Are

There is no greater perfection than being who you are, and no greater purpose than expressing who you are.

But who are you? That is the question that needs answering. That is the urge from the soul within that prompts us to keep exploring life. Every thought, desire and action arises from our depths as ways of discovering and expressing this reality.

Often we miss the mark because we identify more with the characteristics of our personality than with our essence which is soul. When we identify who someone truly is, we are implying their essence. Essence is soul, and soul is that eternal reality manifesting in bodies with temporary conditions.

Soul is characterised by Beauty, Truth and Goodness, not by psychological conditions like fear, anger or prejudice, nor by personality traits such as good looks, intelligence or status. This confusion has led to some distorted understanding about what it is we need to express.

We need to express who we are, because that is our value and that is why we have incarnated. Our purpose in life is to express who we are because that is the finest contribution we can make.

Purpose is always about contributing to the well-being of the whole or of what we are part of. Our purpose is never self- gratification, although we will feel deeply grateful and fulfilled when we make authentic contributions to life around us.

Another way of expressing who we are is to understand that we must give ourselves to others.

Again, it is not our personality that we give but the Beauty, Truth and Goodness that we essentially are. It is this reality that then resonates the soul within the other and evokes its expression in the lives of others, creating soulful relationships in society.

Become aware of the thoughts you have about who you are. When you are feeling angry or afraid, for example, do not think that is who you are, but that you are experiencing those states as a temporary condition because you are not soul centered at that moment. Those types of emotions are reminders to identify with the eternal, peaceful, tolerant, loving, beautiful dimension of yourself.

Become increasingly aware that what others need from you is your love, your empowerment and your understanding as the expressions of the soul within you, and as a reminder to them of the soul within themselves.

Reflect often on who you are. Meditate on the inner truth of your being. Let your consciousness of who you are steadily grow and become a dominant influence in your thinking, feeling and acting. Share your essence with all you meet. Your presence then becomes a real blessing, and you fulfill your purpose.

"Be Bold,Be Brave,Be Different"

Avoiding Mediocrity: Do You Dare to Be Different?

I don’t know about you, but one of the things I’m afraid most in life is mediocrity. For me, life is too precious to be lived in mediocrity. Life is a golden opportunity, and we should use it as good as we can. Living in mediocrity means we do not use the opportunity as good as we should.

Unfortunately, many people are trapped in mediocrity. I believe one of the main reasons is they do not dare to be different. You need to be different if you want to be above the average. The question is:

Do you dare to be different?

This question might not be easy to answer, but how you answer it will make the difference between excellence and mediocrity.

Here are some more specific questions to help you check yourself and take actions:

1. Do you have a dream?

This is the first question you should ask yourself. I believe one of the main reasons people just follow the herd is they don’t have a dream. If there is nothing to pursue then why bother being different?

But a dream is what sets you above the average. Not having a dream means going to mediocrity on autopilot.

If your answer for this first question is “no” then start searching. I’m sure you have a dream deep inside of you. It might be something from your childhood. Maybe for long time you have been too busy to let the little voice of your dream be heard. This is the right time to heed that little voice.

If you have found your dream, the next question is whether or not you have the courage to follow it. Questions two through five will deal with that.

2. Are you doing what you want or what you should?

There are often implicit “rules” about what someone should do in a particular situation. For example, when there are two job opportunities, the “rule” says that you should take the one with higher pay.

But is that what you want? I mean, does it help you achieve your dream? Maybe the job with less pay will help you achieve your dream while the one with higher pay doesn’t. Do you have the courage to be different and follow your dream?

3. Do you worry more about being loved than being what you love?

Another reason why we don’t dare to be different is because we are trying to meet other people’s expectations. We often worry more about what other people say than about what matters to us. But living someone else’s life is a bad way to live your life. Why should you lose opportunity just because of what other people say?

4. Do you choose what is safe rather than what is right?

Maybe you are not trying to meet other people’s expectation. Maybe you just don’t want to take risks and therefore you choose to play safe. But this is exactly what many old people regret.

When they were asked in a study about what they regretted most and what they would do differently, most of them answered: “I wish I had risked more.” Don’t let the same regret happen to you.

5. If you had only six months left to live, would you do what you are doing now?

You can only answer “yes” to this question if what you are doing matters to you. Doing what matters to you is a sure way to excellence since you will do it with all your heart. But you need the courage to be different and follow your heart. Do you have it? I hope your answer is yes. Life is too precious to be lived in mediocrity.

"Why Do Racism Exist?"

why is there racism? is it ignorance? and can progress be made, and will it involve tolerance?

Racism exist because there are people who don't know how to practice the true meaning of humanity & how to make their lives more meaningful.

In my point of view racists are those people who lacks self-esteem that they pretend to be confident enough but underneath this facade they have personal issues that they are in denial to admit in a way they use to prejudice as an outlet of their insecurities.

It is easy for them to hide their insecurities by pretending that they dominate others but the reality behind this facade is they know deep inside them that they are loosers that needs to hide behind the weaknesses of others.

Racism is a practiced of ignorance even racist itself can't be able to give you a valid reason why they discrimate other people bec. of race or religion.Come to think of it where is the logic there.
For me racists are ignorant people that are looking for an escape goat so that they can have a good excuse for being Idiot.

AIDS that has been a problem to the society,is not really a big deal at all!

The Problem is not the Disease itself, the real problem is the people who have it & aware that they had acquired AIDS & still spreading it.

I'm not convinced to the organizations that are funding the individuals who have AIDS,i don't say it is not right though but why not focus more on prevention, killing its roots will end the problem.

This will not be instant or magic but starting to act now will do a big difference,The cure is so SIMPLE but our society itself who makes things complicated.

THE CURE IS SO EASY PLAIN & SIMPLE:

HONESTY,if someone who have AIDS can be just honest & selfless they can stop spreading this disease that has been killing many people for so long & for what???LUST,SELFISHNESS.....no sense at all.

AIDS victims should see this as a blessing instead of a tragedy,to know that you are dying why not use your days protecting people for acquiring,so you can leave a legacy when you die.

You don't need to be appreciated by the whole world to make a difference to other people lives, knowing that you had changed even a single persons life to be better is one thing you can be proud of,or by not just spreading it...is already a big sacrifice you can do to your loved ones & to your country.

Be a hero & save other lives.Have the courage & be brave to face your fears.

Don't be ashamed for having AIDS,what is to be ashamed of is those who know that they are infected & keep spreading it.

Why look at it like it's the end of the world why not use it as an oppurtunity to open the eyes of the society. If you have done something meaningful you would not be thinking so much with your disease & you will be living the rest of your days happy & worthy!
