Be Brave

~This woman is frought with warring emotions, laced with a multitude of contradictions..She is steady in all things, straight on..whether it be the hand that rocks the cradle, presses up close to her man of sits down to hold the hand of a friend in need of a friend..or simply to sit down and go to war with balancing the checkbook..her determination makes it balance..She stays focused even while losing control..

She will smile even when she is upset because she knows she is free to let go and go where no one else is brave enough to go or let you see her tears or witness her pain when she does...These things are hers alone and she is careful who ever will see or know the full extent of them..Most will be driven away by the sight of her own undoing..yet they will know that as sure as she breathes or lives, so must she come undone now and then..

This is a woman who is fierce in her relationships..who will often give so much more than she receives and doesn't mind..who sits in the dark of midnight and mulls over all she might have done better that day..

She will fight to the death protecting her loved ones and her friends..and believes a stranger is a friend you simply haven't met yet..and so hopes and keeps trying..Her pain is private..she grieves in silence and screams it out when it threatens to take the rest of who she is away for all time..hoping for a savior on a nearby ship to throw out a life preserver..blowing kisses of IOU on the wind back to them..

This is a woman..who never stops trying, never will..inside where it counts she has the proof that it is all worthwhile..every single moment~

Are you losing hope

Are You Losing Hope, Discouraged or Sick & Tired of Facing Life's Problems?

The joy of life comes from the wisdom of counting your blessings, never your troubles. Focus on what you have and maintain a thankful heart.

If you are facing any trouble, don't ask God, why me? Instead, ask "what do You want me to learn?". Then trust God and keep on doing what is right. Don't give up, just grow up!

Thoughts on Life: Be thankful that you don't already have everythingyou desire. If you did, what would there be to look forward to? Be thankful for the difficult times because during those times, you grow. Be thankful for your limitations coz they give you a chance to become better. May you always have a day filled with gratitude.

Life is a matter of perspective, either you complain because roses have thorns or you rejoice because thorns have roses. It all depends on how you look at it.

Sometimes God breaks our spirit to save our soul. Sometimes He break sour heart to make us whole. Sometime He sends us pain so we can bestrong. Sometimes He sends us failure so we can be humble.

Sometimes He send us illness so we can take better care of ourselves. Sometimes He takes everything away from us so we can learn the value of everything we have.

Look at the babies sleeping, it makes us realize how fragile life is. Look at the shooting star blazing, it makes us realize how temporarylife is. Look at the sun rising, it makes us realize how beautiful life is. Look at a person dying, it makes us realize how important life is.

Life is beautiful in its fragility, important on itstranscience. Live life to the fullest. Laugh, love and be grateful.

If you have food, clothing and a home, you are richer than the 75% ofthe world's population. If you have some money in the bank, you ar ebeing among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If you wake up healthy this morning, you are more blessed than the 1 Million people who will not survive this week.

If you have exprience peace and freedom, you are ahead of the 500 Million people in the world. And if you can read these messages, you are more blessed than the 1 Billion people who cannot even read at all.

Like birds, let's leave behind what we don't need to carry - grudges, sadness, pain, fear and regrets. Fly light, life is beautiful. Have a blessed day.

Whenever you don't understand what's happening in your life, you just have to close your eyes, take a deep breath and say "Lord I know it'sYour plan, I put my trust in Your hands".

Has life been good? Let God hear your "Thank you". Has it been bad? Let Him hear you say "I trust in You". Has it been unfair? Shhhh....just have Faith.

Always remember the 5 simple rules to be happy 1-Free your heart from anger, 2-Free your mind from worries, 3-Live simply, 4-Give more, and5-Expect less

3 reasons why laughing is good for your health: 1-Your Heart - laughingmakes your blood pressure good while increasing the amount of oxygencarried in your blood. 2-Your lungs - a deep level - laughing lowers level of the stress hormones,cortisol-reducing tension.

"Fearness"

S H A D O W O F D A R K N E S S

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

"Be Bold,Be Brave,Be Different"

Avoiding Mediocrity: Do You Dare to Be Different?

I don’t know about you, but one of the things I’m afraid most in life is mediocrity. For me, life is too precious to be lived in mediocrity. Life is a golden opportunity, and we should use it as good as we can. Living in mediocrity means we do not use the opportunity as good as we should.

Unfortunately, many people are trapped in mediocrity. I believe one of the main reasons is they do not dare to be different. You need to be different if you want to be above the average. The question is:

Do you dare to be different?

This question might not be easy to answer, but how you answer it will make the difference between excellence and mediocrity.

Here are some more specific questions to help you check yourself and take actions:

1. Do you have a dream?

This is the first question you should ask yourself. I believe one of the main reasons people just follow the herd is they don’t have a dream. If there is nothing to pursue then why bother being different?

But a dream is what sets you above the average. Not having a dream means going to mediocrity on autopilot.

If your answer for this first question is “no” then start searching. I’m sure you have a dream deep inside of you. It might be something from your childhood. Maybe for long time you have been too busy to let the little voice of your dream be heard. This is the right time to heed that little voice.

If you have found your dream, the next question is whether or not you have the courage to follow it. Questions two through five will deal with that.

2. Are you doing what you want or what you should?

There are often implicit “rules” about what someone should do in a particular situation. For example, when there are two job opportunities, the “rule” says that you should take the one with higher pay.

But is that what you want? I mean, does it help you achieve your dream? Maybe the job with less pay will help you achieve your dream while the one with higher pay doesn’t. Do you have the courage to be different and follow your dream?

3. Do you worry more about being loved than being what you love?

Another reason why we don’t dare to be different is because we are trying to meet other people’s expectations. We often worry more about what other people say than about what matters to us. But living someone else’s life is a bad way to live your life. Why should you lose opportunity just because of what other people say?

4. Do you choose what is safe rather than what is right?

Maybe you are not trying to meet other people’s expectation. Maybe you just don’t want to take risks and therefore you choose to play safe. But this is exactly what many old people regret.

When they were asked in a study about what they regretted most and what they would do differently, most of them answered: “I wish I had risked more.” Don’t let the same regret happen to you.

5. If you had only six months left to live, would you do what you are doing now?

You can only answer “yes” to this question if what you are doing matters to you. Doing what matters to you is a sure way to excellence since you will do it with all your heart. But you need the courage to be different and follow your heart. Do you have it? I hope your answer is yes. Life is too precious to be lived in mediocrity.

"Fear Is All In The Mind Made Up By Us"

Turning Your Fear Into Faith

Don't let your fears defeat you , All human beings do have fears even the bravest person alive but the difference is they learn to overcome those fears by focusing on the positive side.If you believed that you'll succeed that time will come but is you are a prisoner of your fears, you will be paralyzed by the ghost you had created.

There is no end. There is no beginning. There is only the infinite passion of life.

Ironically, yesterday's Gospel reading was about the hemorrhaging woman I talked about
in my post about the statue of Jesus in the Hopkins's administrative building with the inscription: "Come, all you who are weary."

It was a perfect reading for me yesterday because I was feeling fearful all day--unable to locate exactly what was triggering so much anxiety, but feeling panicked all the same. There was such a relief when I got to the part where Jesus turned around, saw her, and said: "Courage, daughter! Your faith has saved you."

In my devotional, "Magnificat," Father Simon Tugwell, O.P. writes:

Faith punctures the self-sufficiency of our world, so that there is room for God to be God. Perfect charity is when that puncture has become all-embracing, so that we are nothing but space for God to be God. All that we find in ourselves is God being all in all. ... And by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, we too are drawn to be displaced from ourselves, so that we might live "no longer for ourselves but for him," and that God may be at the center of us, "more intimate to us than we are to ourselves."

Somehow I always forget--when I'm in that panic spot--that I'm never truly alone. God is always with me, and especially on the darker days when I doubt the power of goodness and love.

"Whose To Blame?

Who is to blame?

We read it in the paper and hear it on the air
Of killing and stealing and crime everywhere.

We sigh and we say as we noticed the trend,
This young generation..where will it end?

But can we be sure that its their fault alone?
Are we less guilty, who place who place in their way?

Too many things that lead them astray?
Too much money, too much ideal time

Too many movies of passion and crime.
Too many books not fit to be read

Too much evil in what they hear said.
Too many children encouraged to roam

Too many parents who wont stay home.
Kids dont make the movies, they dont write the books

They dont paint the pictures of gangsters and crooks.
They dont make the liquor, they dont run the bars,

They dont change the laws, and they dont make the cars.
They dont make the drugs that muddle the brain;
Thats all done by older folks.. eager for gain.

Delinquent teenagers; oh how we condemn
The sin of the nation and blame it on them.

Instead of placing, lets fix the cause,
And remember as we pause;

That in so many cases its said but its true“
The little âdelinquent fits older folks too!

"Why waste time in putting the blame on someone, why not use your time to look for a solution. To blame is not an act of bravery instead an act of cowardness."

"ALWAYS LIVE BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT!"

Life is indeed is worthliving, keeping the best in you makes you a better person.
To all my friends and soon to be friends, just hold on to your faith, for it will surely bring you success in life.
"The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called FAILURE, a loop called CONFUSION, speed bumps called FRIENDS, red lights called ENEMIES, caution lights called FAMILY. You will have flats called JOBS, but if you have a spare called DETERMINATION, an engine called PERSEVERANCE, insurance called FAITH, and a driver called GOD, you will make it to a place called SUCCESS!

Always remember: FOR IT IS SAID, INTENSE CRISIS NEEDS INTENSE FAITH AND INTENSE FEAR NEEDS INTENSE PRAYER!

"ALWAYS LIVE BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT!"

"Be Fearless,Be Brave"

Be Fearless :
Be not afraid of anything. You will do marvelous work. The moment you fear, you are nobody. It is fear that is the greatest of all superstitions. It is fear that is the cause of our woes, and it is fearlessness that brings heaven even in a moment. Therefore, 'Aries, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached'
Stand and die in your own strength: if there is any sin in the world, it is weakness: avoid all weakness, for weakness is sin, weakness is death.

Strength of Character :
Neither money pays, nor name, nor fame, nor learning: it is CHARACTER that can cleave through adamantine walls of difficulties.
If wealth is lost nothing is lost; if health is lost something is lost, but if character is lost everything is lost.

Success :
Take up one idea, make that one idea your life; think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is way to success.

Love :
Love opens the most impossible gates; love is the gate to all the secrets of the universe. Every step that has been really gained in the world has been gained by love.

Hard work :
Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety nine percent perspiration.

Communication :
It is only few that understand the language of brain, but everyone understands the language that comes from heart.

"You Can Do Anything just keep believing that you can"

"You Can Do Anything You Believe You Can"

Just start somewhere. Resolve to do something. You might even write out what you want to accomplish. Then explore what you need to do to reach you goal, and start doing it, step by step.

It's the same as if you were planning a trip: you get a map, make your preparations, and then start traveling the right road. Don't get "bound up" in any problems that stand in your way. Do something every day to resolve them. Trust your instincts. Do one thing at a time.

Remember... if you sow seeds of fear, doubt, panic, and procrastination, it will most likely work against you. If you keep doing the same things you're doing now, you will keep ending up in similar places to where you are now.

Once you start making progress towards your goal, you will be magically propelled towards eventual reward. Just keep listening and taking direction from inside you. Be patient; your dreams will not come true overnight.

But start now, and go with love and courage and confidence. Don't be afraid. You can do anything you believe you can. And don't forget to keep an open mind and heart to check yourself along the way.

You can do it! Go for it, and good luck.
