"Your Way To Success"

Success Begins In The Mind

To live at your full potential is to discover the power of your thoughts and words. Whether or not you are aware of it, a war is raging all around you, and the battle is for your mind. Your enemy's number one target is the arena of your thoughts. If he can control how you think, he'll be able to control your entire life. Indeed, thoughts determine actions, attitudes, and self-image. Really, thoughts determine destiny, which is why we are to guard our minds.

Almost like a magnet, we draw in what we constantly think about. If we dwell on depressing, negative thoughts, we will be depressed and negative. If we think positive, happy, joyful thoughts, our life will reflect that and attract other upbeat, positive people. Our life follows our thoughts.

And our thoughts also affect our emotions. We will feel exactly the way we think. You cannot expect to feel happy unless you think happy thoughts. Conversely, it's impossible to remain discouraged unless you first think discouraging thoughts. So much of success and failure in life begins in our minds.

Set your mind on the right course. Start every day by agreeing with the psalmist, "Today is the day the Lord has made, and I'm going to be happy. I'm going to go out and be productive. This is going to be a great day." Magnify your God, and go out each day expecting good things.
EVERY DAY, WHEN YOU FIRST GET UP, SET YOUR MIND FOR SUCCESS.

The Story of Love

In the truest sense of the word, Love is a story that spans the vast expanse of history. In fact, it is a story that has no beginning or end. We see a beginning only because we have a beginning – Love has always been and always will be. Love is timeless.

Springing forth from Love is a never-ending chain reaction of virtues, the most beautiful virtues in all of creation: kindness, generosity, grace, forgiveness, patience, mercy, compassion, empathy and altruism, to name a few.

Real Love makes possible other things of beauty, because within real Love there is a relationship of unchanging truth that allows complete trust, and thus, rest for the soul. Real Love is always reliable without being a task master. It guides us gently along a path of safety and growth, having our best interests at heart. Love lives in hope and not in demands. Love is willing to do the hard things. Love is willing to wait patiently. Love will endure all hardships, all sorrows and all pain. Love is the great healing power for the soul. Love does not force its way in, but waits for an invitation. Love never condemns, but instead, forgives and accepts. It is a perfect state of being, having all it needs to be complete. Being Love though, it wanted to share this perfection, and so it created us.

Because Love is what it is, Love placed its new children in a beautiful garden full of the perfection that is its hallmark. We wanted for nothing and lived within a beautiful relationship with Love. Love made us the masters of its creation, allowing us to name every different thing it had made. Love even came in the cool of the day to walk and commune with its children.

One very fateful and sorrowful day, being small and having only a shallow knowledge of the infinite depths of Love, like a rebellious child, we decided to try things on our own. Rather than listen to the voice of Love, we chose to listen to another voice. This voice promised many tantalizing things – things we had never known or considered. The decision we made then echoes down the ages to this very day. As the crowning achievement of Love’s creation, we brought our curse of rebellion upon all of creation as well.

We failed to realize then, just as we do today, that living apart from Love, we live and wander, by default, in the dark world of the other voice, a voice that opposes Love at every turn. Many of us have learned to love the darkness, actually, and have joined the other voice in that opposition. We said that within Love is the truth. Outside of Love there is no truth. Without truth, there is no faith. Without faith there can be no way to trust, and therefore, no rest for the soul. Without Love, there is no real life at all. If we would be honest, we would all say that since the day of our rebellion against Love, we have searched for a way back to it and to the life and rest that is within it.

Love, being perfect, had already planned to deal with the predicament of its children. Because Love is perfection, we could no longer live within it in our condition of rebellion. The other voice had soiled us with its manifold curses, things like selfishness, deception, unkindness, indifference, pride, lust and greed. Love cannot coexist with these things. Think about that…let it sink in. To coexist with these things, Love would no longer be perfect, and that cannot be, because above all things, Love is perfect and never changing.

Love’s perfect plan, then, was to send a part of itself to live among us, to become one of us and teach us, and never to yield to the whispers of the other voice, because Love has a burning desire for us to know it and return ourselves to it. In this way, Love could do a marvelous thing! Love, having become one of its children and having lived within its perfection, took upon itself all of the curses of its children and allowed those children to put it to death, along with every curse the other voice had ensnared them in. The child of Love was dead, but that was not the end. Love then performed the greatest miracle of all time! It raised its child from the dead and defeated not only the curses of the other voice, but also death itself. Love’s children now had a way to return themselves to it, unsoiled by all of the curses of the other voice. Love, having also defeated the power of death, offered its children an eternal life when their life in its creation was over.
Obviously, we are the children of this story, and God, as the scriptures point out, is Love. God the Father is Love. Jesus is Love. The Holy Spirit is Love. Everything they do is all about their love for YOU. Love never brings upon us the painful things we often blame upon them. All of them have worked this miracle of perfection just for you, just because they love you. You cannot understand this love fully, and that is not the point.

Love, if you will allow it, will let you believe in it and accept it. All you must do is submit to it – surrender to it – return to Love in humility and sorrow for your life in the darkness of the other voice. Love will not turn you away.

Will you allow Love the opportunity to look inside and find the things that come between you and Him? Are you willing to let Him tear down the walls made of shame, fear and pride that separate you from Him? Can you submit yourself to Him, in love and gratitude for every loving thing He has done for you already?

Will you take just one step of faith and believe for one moment that Love can change you, forever? I hope you can and will, because that one step is enough, and He will take the other steps for you.

Working From Home Can Be Wonderful

Money from Home? Is it Really Possible?

If you're looking to make a living from home then you're going to want to realize that it might not be the fun you think. There are two ways to make a living from home. The first one is to find a work at home job, and this is where you are actually an employee of a company. The second way would be to have your own business.

Both work-at-home options have good and bad points. The best way to decide what is going to be right for you is to take a long hard look at yourself and what you need in life and evaluate them. For a work at home job the only difference from an outside the home job is that for the most part you will not have as much supervision. If you determine that your person that needs supervision and a lot of human interaction, then working from home might not be for you.

If you decide that you might try a work from home business then you have to look long and hard at your skills and talents. You have to have the right type of personality to be successful and a work at home business. Again the same thing holds true as with the work from home position, you have to be able to work on your own without direct supervision. If you're not able to keep yourself motivated and on track and you're going to fail miserably in your business. Another point is if you're not alright with working on your own, and you do need human interaction then you're going to find a work from home business very difficult to deal with.

If you find that you are all right with these major problems with working from home, then you might want to go ahead and try. Working from home is challenging in its own right, and the first step in and is valuing whether you can handle the few major concerns that come with it. One should find that you can get past that men from the others might not be a big deal and you might find working from home either as an employee will be extremely rewarding for you.

"WALK WITH FAITH IN YOUR HEART AND LOVE YOUR LIFE AS YOU LOVE GOD"

How do I get back up after I fall?

One of the most critical moments in the lives of believers is when they stumble. We're all vulnerable, and it happens to everyone at some point. We are going along, progressing in our Christian walk. We're getting to know God. We're adjusting our thought life. We're overcoming some bad habits. Then, boom! Without warning, we do something "really stupid." Maybe it's an outburst of rage at something, or someone, in unrestrained anger. Or, maybe just as we start to get free of an impure sexual habit, we revert back as though nothing had changed in our lives. Or, maybe we have a nasty moment of gloating over someone else's failure, swelling us with ugly pride.

Our next steps after that stumble are really important. Why? Because right after a failure, we will either draw back from our relationship with the Lord, or we will press into Him, drawing closer than ever. We are at a fork in the road. Let's see where each of these opposite paths takes us.

On one path you progressively distance yourself from God. You may be overcome with guilt from what you've done, thinking ... "I've blown it. I'm a failure. I'm not worthy. God doesn't want me the way I am." Or, you may become hardened, justifying yourself: "He deserved my tongue-lashing." "She set me up for that moral failure. It's her fault."

The further you go down this path, the more difficult it is to recover. Some never do. They abandon their faith and give up on trying to walk further with Jesus. Sadly, the world is full of people who once believed, but have strayed far away. The writer to the Hebrews issues this caution, and it applies to everyone: "Do not drift away" (Hebrews 2:1 NIV).

But the other path can restore you to even closer intimacy with God. An earlier scripture promises that God has provided "everything we need for life and godliness" (2 Peter 1:3 NIV). That includes a perfect way back to Him when you stumble. First, it is important to realize you will stumble. Even at your very best, you are completely unworthy when compared to a holy God. Second, when you fail the Lord is watching and protecting. See this assurance from King David, who was no stranger to failure:

If the Lord delights in a man's way, He makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with His hand (Psalm 37:23,24 NIV).

Third, you can come to God in complete honesty about your failure, and ask His forgiveness. Remember, He knows all you have done, even what you've been thinking. There are no surprises with Him. But you need to take the initiative in returning. What is God's response when you humble yourself and come before Him? Hear what the Apostle John says: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

What a tremendous promise and wonderful reality. I couldn't put a number to the times I've had to walk this path. But one thing I know -- each time, the Lord has been utterly faithful to forgive. You can be washed clean and restored no matter how grievously you have erred.

Finally, it is so much to your benefit when you come quickly. And come as often as needed -- not just for the big slips but also for the small ones. As you do, you will increasingly discover the depth of God's love for you and find your love and trust for Him growing deeper and deeper.
Key Scripture

If anybody does sin, we have One who speaks to the Father in our defense -- Jesus Christ, the Righteous One (1 John 2:1 NIV).
Key Thought

I am not perfect, but I am forgiven.

"i adore you"

i love you but i can't afford you

i love you but i can't afford you

but oh my god how i adore you

try as i may i could never floor you

i love you but i can't afford you

in a world so full of strifeyou light up my fucking life

i bone up at the sound of your voice

i love it when you give me no other choice

i love you but i can't afford you

still i could never abhor you

do i talk too much or do i bore you

i love you but i can't afford you

you push me beyond my weakness

like a horse competing in the preakness

i bone up at the sound of your name

but i love to play your youthful game

i love you but i can't afford you

you've done more for me than i for you

every word that i say is true

i love you but i can't afford you

all you got to do is crack that smile

and you've spell-bounded me for a while

i bone up at the touch of your hand

and when our souls touch we understand

i love you but i can't afford you

but oh my god how i adore you

try as i may i could never floor you

i love you but i can't afford you

"Happiness"

Happiness does'nt go hand in hand with other emotions. It's a bad boy who doesn't play well with others. You will never achieve him if you are friends with any of the other emotions ,for he is a sore loser,a loner.Happiness can only stay with you for a little while. Those of you who have him know he's quickly gone as soon as another emotion takes over. Before having his place taken , sometimes,he might linger in anticipation that you may want him back.Happiness is a fleeting emotion. Some are lucky to hold him for long amounts of time. But they are usually by a chosen few,the very young who are sheltered from the other emotions ,or,someone with optimism caused by an underlying condition. It's a bad bedfellow.

In dreams it is often washed away upon the light of day.Upon the waking of reality.Happiness doesn't get along with pride.Pride holds him back.Happiness never liked vanity. For as looks fade, years can erase the smile of nacissism and happiness is gone.Happiness doesn't work well with the poor, the hungry, the lonely,or the depressed .The sick, the dying, the weary, and the troubled. This emotion is never called upon in these circles. When you find happiness, tell him he needs to visit people more often. To put aside all the others within someones heart and look for the good, give a cheer, lend it's helping hand in a world that so desperately needs him.For if we erase all other emotions, happiness will embrace each one of us..

AN UNDERSTANDING FOR LIFE

A man can take a lifetime,

Deciding who it is he wants to be.

Sometimes facing reality,

With never stopping to see.

A man can be a hero to some,

Or a failure to many,Either way,

A man will feel he has tried his best. Some are fathers,

And some are husbands,But not many are both,

Or good at being both.

An army will fill itself with many men,

Some Brave,Some Scared,

Some just willing.Never knowing,

If they have reached excellence.

The world puts great promise,

Upon a mans shoulders,

Never understanding,

They are that of just men;

Nothing More,Nothing Less

Just Men.

Yet life puts men above women,

And now we have understanding of life.

For it will always be a woman,

Who holds that man up,

And together in the eyes of this life.
