"Let Us Help To Heal The World"

WE NEED CHANGE

I know it's not that easy to change the world & it seems that we are now facing a fact that our society is near to be considered as a hopeless case but there is not impossible with a willing heart. We can start the change within ourselves .

Make your lives worth living for...don't just eat & live to survive give your life a cost.

Wherever You Stand, Make It Camp David

Wherever Your Stand Make It Camp David "The only way we can make peace is for each of us to be the peace we wnt to see." -- Susan Collin Mar
It's up to us. We can't wait for someone more powerful or wiser to deliver peace. We are the wise and powerful ones who choose peace in every thought and action.

King showed us that even the simplest acts tilt the world toward peace. When his house was burned during the civil rights movement, he raced home not knowing if his wife and young daughter were safe. And he knew whatever he did could affect the anger brewing in the country. He stepped onto his porch and said, "Remember, this is what God said, 'We are not advocating violence. We want to love our enemies. I want you to love your enemies. Be good to them. Love them and let them know you love them.'"

Global peace is a personal choice, hour by hour. Ask yourself, "Am I going to add to the fighting in the world? Or offer up something greater?"

Nurture Peace in Yourself

Nuture Peace in Yourself "The first step is to come home to ourselves. You don't need to become a Buddha. You need to become yourself." -- Thich Nhat Hanh

It's hard to stay peaceful if we're overwhelmed by life. Find some peace, calm, and stability in your inner world so you can be kinder in your outer world. Do whatever soothes you, daily. Spend time in nature, meditate, sing, dance, play, chill on the couch. Do yoga, read by the fire, eat good chocolate while watching an entire sunset. Disconnect from conflict and just breathe for a while. Center yourself and tap into the peace you already carry within.

Heal a Piece of Your Anger

Heal a Piece of Your Anger "Peace is as much about getting the bombs out of our own hearts as out of the Pentagon budget." -- Colman McCarthy

It's normal to get angry. But as peacemakers, our challenge is to channel that frustration into something greater. Think of your anger as rocket fuel that can launch your dreams--not scald people around you. View it as a surge of energy to create what you really want and need. Practice breathing deeply, disarming yourself and asking, "Why am I so angry? What do I really want?"

If we can transform our anger into a higher dream, as King did, we take a stand for peace. We step away from the vise of anger and step into the lives we really want.

Focus on the Positive

Focus on the Positive "Plant yourself in the middle of what you love most--the thing within you that is most alive." -- Yael Lachman

Others may want to waste their precious time focusing on the perceived ugliness in the world. Be the one who focuses on the positive, and watch the magic happen. Our thoughts are powerful. What we pay attention to expands. Attract peace with your thoughts. Notice peaceful people and places, tune out violence.

And remember that more people are at peace than at war all across the earth. This is the story we need to focus on, broadcast, and amplify. The world is evolving and becoming a brighter place.

Creatively Resolve One Conflict

Creatively Resolve One Conflict "Conflicts are a call to creative problem-solving." -- Louise Diamond

Whether you're hosting a family gathering or conferencing with your staff, conflict will pop up as surely as that annoying neighbor who wants you to vote like him. Intensity will always percolate in any community. Conflicts can't be avoided. But we can learn to navigate them more confidently and use the tension as an opportunity to express our views honestly and peacefully.

The next time conflict surfaces, keep breathing, stay calm, thoughtfully speak your truth, listen to others, and try to find some shared ground. Realize that your frustration may be about the situation, not the person. Set the intention to find a resolution. Try to find the humor. Agree to disagree, if necessary.

Be the Bridge

Be the Bridge "Out beyond the ideas of wrong-doing and right-doing, there is a field. I'll meet you there." -- Rumi

When do you demonize and fear people you don't even know? When you have incorrect perceptions of others, it's easier to fear, even hate them. Get to know the genuine in others. Meet people of other cultures, religions, and backgrounds. Find shared experiences, hopes, and beliefs. Connect on that holy ground, and peace will flow out from those moments.

Practice Self-Responsibility

Practice Self Responsibility "We want to put an end to wars without giving up our violent intentions and violent relationships," -- Arun Gandhi

Wars break out over our evening meals--or in the world--when we try to control someone else. Accept that everyone holds a piece of the truth, Arun Gandhi says. Accept that you're only responsible for your own values, beliefs, and choices.

Forgive One Person

Forgive One Person "Resentment is like drinking poison and then hoping it will kill your enemies." -- Nelson Mandela

This month, try to release one individual--it could be yourself--from your anger and judgment. If you can't change what happened, then change your thoughts about it. Let it go. Forgiveness isn't about forgetting, it's about being at peace in your own skin. It's about getting on with your life, says Arun Gandhi, who forgave the man who killed his grandfather. "Being obsessed with anger only destroys us."

Believe in Peace

Believe in Peace "Dream. Dream. Dream. Be idealistic. Dream the world can be a better place." -- Archbishop Desmond Tutu

Believe that peace can happen anytime, anyplace. Love the idea of living in harmony more than the idea of living in chaos. Spend time each day visualizing how your own life will be different when peace grows in all your relationships. Imagine your community cooperative and thriving. Imagine our country no longer warring with others. See our homes bathed in peace and prosperity. Feel the joy of that! Believe that a peaceful world is our destiny.

Serve a Piece of the World

Serve a Piece of the World "Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve." -- Martin Luther King, Jr.

The world is asking for your light. Find a way to give back and make a difference. Help someone else. You and I make all the difference in whether the world grows more chaotic or more peaceful. "You don't need a college degree to serve. You don't have to know Einstein's theory of relativity to serve," King said. "You don't have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love."

Serve the world with your peaceful heart, with your peaceful soul. Make it big. Make it so.

"Five Ways to Welcome Change"

Ways to Welcome Change

The architect is a man who synthesizes, but he does not yet possess the wisdom and infinite intuition of the angels, who alone are capable of building a cathedral without planning ahead.

Welcome Change

By Elizabeth Lesser

Raise your hand if you've had a crazy year with lots of changes--good, bad, or otherwise. OK! Just as I thought; we're all in this together. The most difficult change I've been dealing with is my sister's cancer diagnosis and treatment. Sitting by her bed in the oncology unit the other day, I came across words by the great Sufi master, Hazrat Inayat Khan: "Walking on the turning wheel of the earth, living under the ever-rotating sun, man expects a peaceful life."

Reading them, I had an a-ha moment--I let go of demanding that life be predictable, easy, peaceful. Such a relief! I decided to make my New Year's resolution be about welcoming change with a willing heart. If you want to join me in this, here are some helpful ways to proceed.

Expect Change

Since we live in a changing universe, expect change. Good change, difficult change, destructive change, transformative change.

Make Friends With Change

Try not to fight change. Make unconditional friendship with it, in whatever form it arrives.

Relax Into the Mystery

There is so much more to this life than we can ever understand through our tiny brains and fearful hearts.

So in times of big change, it's good to be gentle and kind and patient with yourself. And to relax. The best peacemakers are those who are at peace with themselves.

Receive Change's Message

Be still and listen deeply for the truth that is carried on its winds--information about the past, wisdom about the present, and direction for the future.

Come Alive

Join forces with the dynamic flow of life. The African-American theologian Howard Thurman said: "Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs are people who have come alive."

And so, as the old year changes into the New Year, ask what makes you come alive, and then go do it--for your own sake, and in service of the greater good.

"Be The Change"

Top Ten Things to Think About If You Want to Change the World

Mahatma Gandhi believed that we must be the change we want to see in the world. This was well demonstrated when he helped India gain its independence.

Gandhi was a revolutionary man, but he accomplished India's emergence as a nation without starting a revolution. In fact, he advocated no violence.

One of the most powerful countries in the world yielded to the commitment of one man and the dream of millions.

What change can we effect? What's the difference we want to make in the world?

Gandhi said, "In a gentle way you can shake the world." Here are some things to think about how to do just that …

1. Know that all significant change throughout history has occurred not because of nations, armies, governments and certainly not committees. They happened as a result of the courage and commitment of individuals. People like Joan of Ark, Albert Einstein, Clara Barton, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Edison and Rosa Parks. They might not have done it alone, but they were, without question, the change makers.

2. Believe that you have a unique purpose and potential in the world. It's not so much something to create as to be discovered. And it's up to you to discover it. Believe that you can and will make a difference.

3. Recognize that everything you do, every step you take, every sentence you write, every word you speak-or DON'T speak--counts. Nothing is trivial. The world may be big, but there are no small things. Everything matters.

4. To be the change you want to see in the world, you don't have to be loud. You don't have to be eloquent. You don't have to be elected. You don't even have to be particularly smart or well educated. You do, however, have to be committed.

5. Take personal responsibility. Never think "it's not my job". It's a cop-out to say, "What can I do, I'm only one person." You don't need everyone's cooperation or anyone's permission to make changes. Remember this little gem, "If it's to be, it's up to me."

6. Don't get caught up in the how of things. If you're clear on what you want to change and why you want to change it, the how will come. Many significant things have been left undone because someone let the problem solving interfere with the decision-making.

7. Don't wait for things to be right in order to begin. Change is messy. Things will never be just right. Follow Teddy Roosevelt's timeless advice, "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are."

8. The genesis for change is awareness. We cannot change what we don't acknowledge. Most of the time, we aren't aware of what's wrong or what's not working. We don't see what could be. By becoming more aware, we begin the process of change.

9. Take to heart these words from Albert Einstein--arguably one of the smartest change masters who ever lived: "All meaningful and lasting change starts first in your imagination and then works its way out. Imagination is more important than knowledge."

10. In order for things to change, YOU have to change. We can't change others; we can only change ourselves. However, when WE change, it changes everything. And in doing so, we truly can be the change we want to see in the world.

The following is inscribed on the tomb of an Anglican Bishop in Westminster Abby (1100 A.D.) …

When I was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world. As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change, so I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country.

But it, too, seemed immovable.

As I grew into my twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family, those closest to me, but alas, they would have none of it.

And now, as I lie on my deathbed, I suddenly realize: If I had only changed myself first, then by example I would have changed my family.

From their inspiration and encouragement, I would then have been able to better my country, and who knows, I may have even changed the world.

Since my 10-point list above was inspired by Gandhi's belief, it seems appropriate to end with another of his quotes:

"Consciously or unconsciously, every one of us does render some service or other. If we cultivate the habit of doing this service deliberately, our desire for service will steadily grow stronger and we will make not only our own happiness, but that of the world at large."

TIME FOR CHANGE

A N E W " Y O U "

The key to successful leadership is not to surround yourself with a group of people who look exactly like you, think exactly like you, or act exactly like you. In order to be successful, you have to have a diverse group, with varied perspectives, beliefs and opinions. Bold

WHO ARE THOSE YOU SURROUND YOURSELF WITH?

Partner with those who complete you and not with those who compete with you.

As you journey through 2009, look around you. How are you assembling your team? Is it made up of individuals who act and think alike, or are you bringing in varied and diverse opinions that help you to balance the scales of thought and present a plan that is both detailed and well researched?

The decision is up to you.

I wish you a very peaceful, very happy, and very joyous new season!

"Are You A Good Person?"

Characteristics of a good person

This title is really quite interesting. It's like a face with two coins. Imagine a piece of bread that has grown so moldy that it is infested with maggots. Thinking about it is really quite disgusting, isn't it? Yet these insignificant maggots can be a life-saver for those with infected wounds.....

I won't go into how, as the maggots are really not the star of this topic today. However, for us to determine if that person is good or bad, well, most people would say action speaks louder than words. For some, they would say the face of a person would show how kind or good he or she is.
Well, let's study this a little bit.

Rich and wealthy guy who may donate loads of money to the charities every year but has a harsh mouth and hard hand to the people around him/her. Say, like that old merchant from the Christmas Carol story.

Ever heard anyone who swears and curses like it's an everyday diet? Normally, we would view that person with dislike and think :'well, that says a lot about her/his character!'. Yet, that same person may be the one who just donated his other kidney to another dying man.

A gentleman who gives up his seat to an old woman may just be a drunkard who hits his wife and child every night.

Call me a cynic and a skeptic, but whichever way we look into a person, he or she could not be a saint or a true devil.

If a person who doesn't donate to a school girl with a can, stingy with everything he spends, bad mouthed about everybody he knows, he's still basically a good man. So long he doesn't kill anyone, caused grievous harm to anyone intentionally, and still posess a tiny bit of conscious, he's basically still a good guy.

If a person is a responsible guy who loves his family and friends, nevermind if he's a bit selfish at times (who's not selfish? Please raise your hands?), he's still a good guy.

Look around the people walking down the walkway, driving, drinking; your friends and family whom you think you know, and look into yourself. Are they good? Are you or I good?

Be it we are vain, petty, selfish, arrogant or equipped with other undesirable characteristics, I belive in the basic goodness of a human.

Believe in not judging another person and predetermine the good or bad in him/her.
Instead, let's always stive to bring out our better selves!

"We Need Change"

A Cycle
AM for everyone

The prices of the prime commodities in the market today are skyrocketing. It is on of the many effects of the global increase of the price of crude oil that is hitting every nation of the world. Indeed it has many consequences. Rich and poor countries will suffer dramatically but the greater effect will be felt by those third-world nations including the Philippines. And worst of all, it is directly hitting the biggest economy of the world; the United States.

And an economic recession is under way along with the rest of the world. An economic downfall of the US will mean a bad economy for whole world since US is the biggest trading partners of all the countries and its mighty dollars dictate the currency and stock markets of the world.

And the gap of the haves and have-nots will be widened once again because of this phenomenon. Some economic analyst said it will not last longer because of the so-called economic cycle where one nation really undergoes a series of ups and downs of its economic growth. And eventually it will stabilize the goodness of all. There are many factors that will determined whether the present economic slowdown will hit hard or last longer depending on the policies and will of the people of a certain nation.

In our case, the worsening increase of basic commodities like the rice and other foods directly hit our poor citizenry. The very basic needs of the people can no longer be bought in a lesser price as before. The minimum wage earner will no longer afford even a decent meal since his salary is not enough for his family’s needs. And it will worsen if our lawmakers will do nothing which will alter the trend in the price in the market today.

And if we will took deeper for the cause of it all, it will boil down to one thing; corruption. And we don’t care since it is but a natural phenomenon for the Filipino. We are indeed corrupt and will be corrupt for the longest time. This is a negative pronouncement but it is the truth and the reforms needed are not yet in our generation I guess.

Even though there are so many militants group today, they are not capable of overthrowing the government since they are in one way or the other are corrupt also. I have seen many political idealists in my younger years but in the end they are swallowed by the same money that they are trying to remove before. How many militant groups who are once for the poor but now they are the one who are in Congress doing nothing for the poor?

They are once an aggressive agent of reforms but now they are in a situation when they cannot separate their personal interest to those interests of the masses. They are once in Mendiola but now they are in Congress doing nothing. Well they are doing well in press where they are claiming to oust PGMA but what the hell they are being bought by the same person they are trying to remove.

And in the final analysis, we the people are always the losers. Even the next generation will not be exempted to the effects of the happenings of today. They will suffer the consequences as we are suffering the consequences of the mistakes of the past generations. A cycle that will eventually keep on turning unless we do something about it. An act that will destroy all the idealisms and myths about the real situation of our nations. A revolution within!

"Life Is A Matter Of Choice"

If I could change anything ,
then I would change everything...

I believe in freedom. I believe in responsibility. Those are the main ingredients of existentialism as we know it. I believe that we are here on earth not trapped of the evolutionary changes that took long time ago, millions of times ago. Yes we are the products of the so-called big bang or whatever theory that they may suggest but in the end it is our decision that matters. And those decisions are our private act that reached us into the future. Every action that we may take today will definitely connect us to the future. Or to say it simple, today is just the yesterday of the future.

Previously, I always say that if I have once chance to go back into my life again and have the power to change everything, I will not change a single moment of it. But now I am beginning to change it. If I have the power to change almost anything, I will change everything. I will not change the real friends that I have, the parents that I have, especially my father. I will definitely wanted him to be alive. I will change some crisis that I have.

However, that will not be possible. I realized that what happened just happened. But the good news is, what will happen in the future will be very different if I will just think and decide the best for myself today.

I cannot change anything in the past. But I will definitely can change the future.

"CHANGE"

ISN'T IT ABOUT TIME

I was just reading an article on happiness around the world. i read that the happiest country is denmark and the gloomiest of them all is zimbabwe. And it also read that even though money doesnt buy you happiness it states that the countries with the money have achieved higher levels of happiness than that of the poor countries. so i ask you did the morals i know and hold near and dear to my heart are wrong? i have always thought that money doesnt buy you happiness or love but these days the two things have been falsifyed not just once but numourous times. they say dont judge a book by its cover but its done all the time and and the one with the better cover is always ahead. Is it me or is the world just becoming a disappointment each and every day? And are the gloomy sayings coming foward and rearing their ugly heads. The frequently used saying "nice guys finish last" now that happens every day and its too sad.so i say lets take a stand lets make this world a fair and happy place to live in. And i am a firm belever in the saying that i made up that says that "it is by changing our selves that we can change the world" and you can not be let down with this because it is you who is changing, and you are not waiting for anybody else to(whick often winds up being a disapointment).

SO WHAT DO YOU SAY? WILL YOU TAKE MY HAND AND HELP CHANGE THE WORLD BY NEVER BACKING DOW FROM WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN NO MATTER WHAT AND BY KEEPING THE SUN IN YOUR HEARTS? I HOPE YOU WILL CAUSE I THINK ITS TIME TO CHANGE THE WORLD; ITS TIME FOR A REVOLUTION!!!!!

"How to face change in our lives"

10 Ways to Handle Change

Life's transitions are ultimately positive, even if they don't always feel it. Here's how to navigate them gracefully.

By Ariane de Bonvoisin

Everyone experiences change--it may be a job change, relationship change, health change, or a change you've initiated that suddenly seems daunting. If you find change difficult, you're not alone. Many people think change is hard. But it's possible for the change you're going through to be easier, smoother, and less stressful--you can find the positive in transitions and learn to love your life more...you can become a Change Optimist.

Remember That Change Happens to Us All

Change happens every day, to everyone; it's the one constant in life, the thing that connects us all. And whether life has thrown a change at you or you've sought one out, it's natural to find it difficult. But I believe change is positive, that anyone can change (you're never too old or too young), and there are always ways to make change easier. It's time to learn one of life's most important skills: how to navigate change!

From Every Change, Something Good Will Come

People who are good at change always focus on the positive that will inevitably come from any transition. The gift that comes from change may not be related to what you're currently going through. For example, you may lose your job but find yourself in a rewarding new relationship that you wouldn't have had time to pursue. Change may lead you to new people, help you develop a stronger faith and belief in yourself, give you new opportunities, or inspire you to live a healthier life. It's important to be on the lookout for good changes, and not necessarily where you expect to find them!

Your Beliefs About Change Are Your Foundation

What you think about change will have a direct effect on how easy or hard you find the process. If you believe that change is difficult and terrible, then you will probably have a difficult and terrible time. But if you believe that change exists to teach you something--to make you a better person and put you on a new path--the transition will not be so daunting. Identify your beliefs--what you think and say to yourself and others during change--and turn them around. For example, if you are having financial trouble, you may think "I am incapable of managing money." Or if you're going through a difficult break-up, you may believe "I am unlovable." But you can trade these disempowering beliefs--and their accompanying negativity and complaining--for thoughts that will give you strength and hope.

Get 'Unstuck' with the Change GPS

Because of emotions brought up by change, it's easy to get stuck in the past and to lose your ability to move forward. You may feel trapped by these Change Demons, but you can get unstuck by turning on your Change GPS! A GPS navigator only asks two questions: "Where are you now?" and "Where do you want to go?" Your Change GPS helps you move through transitions by alerting you if you're off-course and encouraging you to focus on your final destination. If you're hoping to lose weight, for example, be honest about where you stand today (how much you need to lose and the most realistic approach), then create a plan and stick to it. The GPS won't tell you what you did wrong yesterday or what you could have done differently; it simply keeps you moving along the path to your ultimate goal

Turn to Your Change Support Team

It's normal to feel isolated during change. We often think what we are facing is so unique that no one else can help or understand us. But change is easier when you let other people in. Whatever the situation, there is always, always, someone who can help. One of the quickest ways to embrace change and move through it is to surround yourself with a team of supportive people. They can be family, friends, clergy members, therapists, co-workers--or anyone else who might help you through a change. These people are there to listen, support, and encourage you. They believe you can change, they want you to change, and most importantly, they will keep you on a path of hope and optimism as you move through the transition.

Change Demons Are a Healthy Part of Change

Change Demons are disempowering feelings that arise during any change. These emotions--fear, doubt, impatience, shame, blame, and guilt--can wreak havoc with your self-esteem and destroy hope. But they also remind you how you don't want to feel during change so you can return to how you do want to feel. When Change Demons visit, remember: 1) they are temporary; 2) they encourage you to make a choice--you can choose to feel better or worse than the emotion you are currently experiencing; and 3) they can be replaced with better, brighter emotions that will help you move through change with ease and grace. Faith, patience, endurance, and honesty are some positive emotions that can replace Demons .

Change Use Your Spiritual Strength

When everything is changing, it's important to find the part of yourself that doesn't change--your calm, centered, spiritual side, your higher self. It's the part that's connected to something greater and uses your intuition as a guide. You need to reconnect to it through prayer, meditation, nature, silence, or journaling...anything that helps you go back inside, where your true spirit and power reside. While your lower self may slip into self-pity and hold grudges, your higher self doesn't allow you to become a victim, to blame someone else when things get difficult, or to get lost in anger. This side helps you shine in strength, compassion, and clarity. During change, make an effort to act from your higher self and ask: "What would the better, wiser, calmer part of me do or say or think right now?"

You Have a Change Muscle

Everyone is born with a will to survive, get better, and be happier--I call this the Change Muscle. It helps you accept the reality of your situation and find your center again. Every time you are faced with a change and move through it, you are activating that muscle. And once you flex it, it's strengthened for life--you can never lose all that you have gained from experience. Next time you're faced with transition, remember that your Change Muscle will give you the strength to get through it.

Accept Change

When change happens, you often look longingly back to what used to be. You don't like where the river of life seems to be taking you, so you cling to the rocks or row vigorously upstream--that's what makes change tough! Accept change by taking in your new circumstances without fighting, arguing, explaining, or asking "What if?" It may be difficult at first, but you will soon see that life will lead you through this change and into a place of greater happiness and peace. Go in the direction that life is taking you. If it's a divorce, accept it; if it's a health diagnosis, accept it--only then can you focus on re-aligning yourself with a plan and an optimistic view that focuses on the future, not the past.

Take Action

People who are good at change stop talking and take positive action. Whether life has thrown you a change or you want to make a shift, get a journal and start writing down your feelings. Then make a plan that feels right and is realistic and hopeful. Next, start moving physically. Getting some form of exercise is an absolute must when going through change--don't forget the S.E.E.D of all change. (Sleep, Eat Well, Exercise, and Drink Water). Doing something for someone else--helping a neighbor, calling a lonely friend, spending extra time with your child--will also help to keep you moving forward during change. You can also try something brand new--a new route home, a new class at the gym, a new restaurant, to get things flowing. During transitions it's also helpful to create a "wall of change" with images of what you want to shift and work towards.

More Change Resources

Change is a natural part of life. From your birth, to your education, to starting and losing jobs, to falling in and out of love, change has been with you from the beginning. Who you are today is the sum of all the changes you've experienced--the fun ones and the difficult ones, the big ones and the small ones.

"CHANGE IS ALL WE NEED TO HAVE A BETTER WORLD FOR OUR CHILDREN"

"If you will help someone & you're the same person who will pull him down it is better not to help at all."

"Cheaters are the sisters of liars who celebrates their victory decieving the innocent, for them i pity bec. they are not aware that the real victims are those who commited the sin,for they will be haunted till their last breath."

"It's better to live alone than to live with bunch of hypocrites."

"Self-trust,knowing your true self-worth has a big difference between being arrogant.Arrogance, are those people who are to proud of themselves using their advantaged to pull other people down.Self-trust, inspires people to be better."

"You should believe in yourself even others don't ,even the world go against you,if you know you are right, stand up & have the courage to fight for what you believe."

"You might be a LOSER to the eyes of the majority but come to think of it,The true FOOLS are those people who just goes with the flow without using their heads."

"Gossiping is a manifestation of people who live their lives in misery, they are so desperate that they waste their time minding other lives."

"Practice helping others just for the sake of helping not expecting any in return."

"WE should start the changed within ourselves & our own homes."

If we will just really analyzed the situation that we experienced & the problems that we are encountering we will realized that the SOLUTION to our problems are has been there all the time rigth in front of us.The problem with us is our resistance to accept the fact that we could resolve all the problems that we are facing no matter how big or small it is,the important thing is the WILLINGNESS to change & eagerness to end the problem from the root not just putting a temporary remedy. If we looked at it we can say that it may seems impossible but if we think & believe in our strength & capabilities we can change our lives & make a difference. For us to help others we must start to help ourselves first, helping is not all about money or material things it is how we influence one another to become a better person/citizen to our nation.

First is the ACCEPTANCE of our mistakes, this is very important bec. if we cannot admit our mistakes, and if we are in denial to see the real picture of the problem,we cannot solve anything. Escaping is not the solution, bec. if we do this we will just putting a reliever but not solving anything still we can see ourselves trapped in the shadow of our problems that will keep on haunting us.So,the solution is to have courage to face the problems...I know that this is not as easy as it was said but running will not do anything good.I think it is all about mind setting on what we really want to achieve in life,in any area or aspects of life whether it could be family, financial, political & spiritual issues.

Second is to ANALYZE the root of the problem & what will be the corresponding action that should be taken. This process will not be easy bec. we need clarity in deciding, even sometimes it would not be the best choice to make bec. we need to sacrifice for some intances.Because most of the time people want to get away with a situation but really not willing to let go.There is no sense if the willingness will not be put to action. There are people who are always complaining about their problems & seeking for symphaty so their weakness & cowardness will be justified.

What Really Makes You Tick? 10 questions you should ask to yourself: a preparation to self-improvement

"What Really Makes You Tick?" 10 questions you should ask to yourself: a preparation to self-improvement.

Be all you can be, but it's not always in the Army. I often see myself as somewhat contented with my life the way things are, but of course it's hard to think of anything else when where are real issues to be discussed.

Still I aspire for something deeper and more meaningful.

So we're all pelted with problems. Honestly it shouldn't even bother or even hinder us to becoming all we ought to be. Aspirations as kids should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks… or can they?

1. What do I really want? The question of the ages. So many things you want to do with your life and so little time to even go about during the day.Find something that you are good at can help realize that small step towards improvement. Diligence is the key to know that it is worth it.

2. Should I really change?Today's generation has taken another level of redefining 'self', or at least that's what the kids are saying. Having an army of teenage nieces and nephews has taught me that there are far worse things that they could have had than acne or maybe even promiscuity. So how does that fit into your lifestyle? If history has taught us one thing, it's the life that we have gone through. Try to see if partying Seventies style wouldn't appeal to the younger generation, but dancing is part of partying. Watch them applaud after showing them how to really dance than break their bones in break-dancing.

3. What's the bright side in all of this? With so much is happening around us there seem to be no room for even considering that light at the end of the tunnel. We can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny. And if it's a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride and see what makes the world go round!

4. Am I comfortable with what I'm doing? There's always the easy way and the right way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, or purse, shirt and whatnot. It doesn't take a genius to see yourself as someone unique, or else we'll all be equally the same in everything we do. Variety brings in very interesting and exciting questions to be experimented.

5. Have I done enough for myself?Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts you'll be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing.

6. Am I happy at where I am today? It's an unfair question so let it be an answer! You love being a good and loving mom or dad to your kids, then take it up a notch! Your kids will love you forever. The same goes with everyday life!

7. Am I appealing to the opposite sex?So maybe I don't have an answer to that, but that doesn't mean I can't try it, though. Whether you shape-up, change the way you wear your clothes or hair, or even your attitude towards people, you should always remember it will always be for your own benefit.

8. How much could I have?I suppose in this case there is no such things on having things too much or too little, but it's more on how badly you really need it. I'd like to have lots of money, no denying that, but the question is that how much are you willing to work for it?

9. What motivates me?What motivates you? It's an answer you have to find out for yourself. There are so many things that can make everyone happy, but to choose one of the may be the hardest part. It's not like you can't have one serving of your favorite food in a buffet and that's it. Just try it piece by piece.

10. What Really Makes You Tick? So? What really makes you tick? You can be just about anything you always wanted to be, but to realize that attaining something that may seem very difficult is already giving up before you even start that journey. Always remember, that self-improvement is not just about the physical or philosophical change you have to undergo, but it's something that you really want.
