"A Tribute To Michael Jackson"

MICHAEL JACKSON

(August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009)
Friday June 26 (Philippines)

Michael Jackson, the child star turned King of Pop who set the world dancing but whose musical genius was overshadowed by a bizarre lifestyle and sex scandals, died on Thursday. He was 50.
Jackson was pronounced dead at about 2:26 p.m. PDT (2126 GMT) after arriving at a Los Angeles hospital in full cardiac arrest, said Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County Coroner's office. The cause of death was not known and an autopsy would likely take place on Friday, he said.

Jackson's sudden death had been reported earlier by U.S. media, which said he was taken ill at his home and rushed to the hospital by paramedics who found him not breathing when they arrived.

Known as the "King of Pop," for hits that included "Thriller" and "Billie Jean," Jackson's dramatic, one-gloved stage presence and innovative dance moves were imitated by legions of fans around the world.

He transformed music videos and his lifetime record sales tally is believed to be around 750 million, which, added to the 13 Grammy Awards he received, made him one of the most successful entertainers of all time.

But Jackson's belief that "I am Peter Pan in my heart", his preference for the company of children, his friendship with a chimp, his high-pitched voice and numerous plastic surgeries also earned him critics and the nickname "Wacko Jacko."

Jackson, who had lived as a virtual recluse since his acquittal in 2005 on charges of child molestation, had been scheduled to launch a comeback tour from London next month.
Quincy Jones, who helped arrange the music on the album "Thriller" and produced the "Off the Wall" album, told MSNBC: "I am absolutely devastated at this tragic and unexpected news."
"For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don't have the words. I've lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him."
SOLD-OUT SHOWS

Jackson had been due to start a series of concerts in London on July 13 running until March 2010. The singer had been rehearsing in the Los Angeles area for the past two months. The shows for the 50 London concerts sold out within minutes of going on sale in March.

"Rarely has the world received a gift with the magnitude of artistry, talent, and vision as Michael Jackson," said Neil Portnow, president and CEO of The Recording Academy in a statement.
"He was a true musical icon whose identifiable voice, innovative dance moves, stunning musical versatility, and sheer star power carried him from childhood to worldwide acclaim."
There were concerns about Jackson's health in recent years but the promoters of the London shows, AEG Live, said in March that Jackson had passed a 4-1/2 hour physical examination with independent doctors.

Outside the hospital in Los Angeles about 200 fans and reporters gathered on Thursday, waiting for confirmation of Jackson's death or condition.

Some fans were crying and hugging each other, and others were climbing atop fences to get a better look at a microphone stand where a news conference was supposed to take place.

"I hope he's gone to God, and I hope that he's free of all the troubles he's been plagued with," Tonya Blazer, 50, who said she had been a fan going back more than four decades to his days as a child star.

"I just feel like I'm paying tribute to him," said Dawn Burgess, 42, a fan who said she had posters of Michael pinned to her bedroom wall when she was a child.

CHILD STAR TO MEGASTAR

Jackson was born on Aug. 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana, the seventh of nine children. Five Jackson boys -- Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael -- first performed together at a talent show when Michael was 6. They walked off with first prize and went on to become a best-selling band, The Jackson Five, and then The Jackson 5.

Jackson made his first solo album in 1972, and released "Thriller" in 1982, which became a smash hit that yielded seven top-10 singles. The album sold 21 million copies in the United States and at least 27 million worldwide.

The next year, he unveiled his signature "moonwalk" dance move while performing "Billie Jean" during an NBC special.

In 1994, Jackson married Elvis Presley's only child, Lisa Marie, but the marriage ended in divorce in 1996. Jackson married Debbie Rowe the same year and had two children, before splitting in 1999. The couple never lived together.

Jackson has three children named Prince Michael I, Paris Michael and Prince Michael II, known for his brief public appearance when his father held him over the railing of a hotel balcony, causing widespread criticism.

New Yorkers and tourists in the city's Times Square were shocked at the news of Jackson's death.

"I don't know what to say. It's sad, it's really, really sad," said Nicole Smith, an 18-year-old student from Brooklyn, New York, in Times Square. "My mother was a fan. I listened to his music."

"I'm shocked. I thought someone was lying to me when I first heard it. I was a fan from when he was a little boy and then he got weird," said Sue Sheider, 51, a teacher from Long Island. Using Music to Change Your Mood

Music Can Affect Your Mood

It's generally known that listening to music when feeling down or disappointed can provide relief. What may not be commonly known is that music can also reduce stress, make depression more bearable and help you relax. There is even an expanding field of therapy called music therapy which uses music for healing. The big problem is that some people misuse the effect of music by listening to consecutive and random music and so result in making themselves feel worse!!

What Are the Benefits of Music?

Music has lots of benefits, a few of which will be explained in the following:

  • Reducing stress: Music can relax your muscles reduce your breathing rate, both of which are directly related to stress and so contribute effectively to its reduction.
  • Makes you happy: Music can stimulate your body to produce serotonin (the happiness hormone) and so elevate your mood.
  • Alter your brain waves: Music can alter your brain wave pattern and so elevate your mood even after you stop listening to it.
  • Motivates you: Something I am sure you have experienced before is that listening to motivating music can make you become more motivated yourself.

How People Misuse Music

All the previously mentioned benefits of music can only happen if the listener enjoys the music he is listening to. If the listener dislikes the music or finds it boring, it will have a negative effect instead of a positive one.

Now lets look at what most of us do when it comes to listening to music. We usually just listen to a pre-prepared playlist and allow a program like winamp to randomly select what we are going to listen to first. This is where the problem lies. What if you like the first song but are bored of the second? What if the third was a motivating song and the fourth was a slow song? What do you think the result will be??

What you'll have is an emotional mess!! The first song will lift your mood a little, the second will make you a little bored, the third will motivate you and then the fourth will put you down. In the end you'll end up feeling worse than before.

I strongly recommend dividing your playlist into different small lists. For example, a list for relaxation, a list for motivation and so on. Another very important thing is to get rid of all of the old music that you are bored of. After all, it doesn't take more than listening to the first five seconds of any of these songs to make your mood swing.

In my book How to get over anyone in few days i pointed out how the music you listen to can delay your recovery from breakups by months and months!! people who listen to romantic songs after breakups recover 10 times slower than those who don't, so beware of your playlist if you want to recover faster.

Beware of the Anchors

Have you ever listened to a piece of music, then suddenly remembered a past situation? This happens because your mind has previously associated both events with each other, so when one of them occurred you just recalled the second. This is what’s called an anchor.

Watch out for any musical parts that are anchored to your bad memories, because when your random music player chooses this musical part you are likely to feel down or at least get a little irritated.

Beware of the Wording

Some songs contain negative words and phrases that are much more destructive than negative self-talk. Some songs also contain messages that can program your mind, creating new beliefs, by consistently repeating a negative message over and over. A poplar example would be any love song that contains a phrase like “I cant live without you”. The more you will listen to this song, the more you will be programming your mind with such a belief and the more you are likely to end up feeling desperate when you break up with someone.

"The Power Of Music In Our Lives"

How Music Affects Your Life

Music is a human activity which involves structured, audible sounds and is used for artistic, entertainment or ceremonial purposes. Music is a major part of our environment. Music is often referred to as "The International Language" - a simple thought with vast implications behind it. Even if you cannot speak the language of a foreign country, you can move, dance, and most of all, enjoy the music of that country. While we may not understand the words to a particular song, we do understand the beauty of the music.

The making of music predates man's use of the written word and is deeply tied to the development and uniqueness of various human cultures. Music has influenced human beings since the dawn of civilization. Music is written and performed for a variety of purposes, including human pleasure, religious or ceremonial functions, or as entertainment products for sale in the marketplace.

Music greatly affects our personal moods. Music can calm and revitalize us in a variety of ways. It can elevate our moods above our personal fears and doubts and even reduce stress and pain levels.

Try listening to a classical music score for a sense of power. Soft, soothing music can help you unwind. And listen to medium-fast to fast music for exercising and house cleaning. Putting additional music in your life can be a powerfully enriching tool.

As with everything created by humans, there is an elemental basis for the composition of music. The basic essence of music lies with its harmony, rhythm, melody and dynamics. Harmony is the relation of notes to notes as they are play simultaneously. Rhythm, by the most simple definition, is musical time.

Melody is a musical line of single tones or pitches, heard by the
listener as a single unity. Dynamics provide the emotion behind the musical thought. Dynamics tell the performer when to play a piece softly or when to play loudly--music ranges from a mere whisper to the fullest of sound.

Just as there are a multitude of definitions for the term "music", likewise there are many divisions and groupings of music, many of which are caught up in the argument over the precise definition of music. Among the larger theme areas are classical music, popular or commercial music (including rock and roll), country music and folk music. Some genres such as bebop-era jazz, rap, punk rock and electronic music are often discounted as "real music" by member music lovers.

As world cultures have grown closer, their particular musical styles and instruments have often merged. For example, U.S.-American bluegrass music contains elements from Anglo-Irish, Scottish, German and some African-American instrumental and vocal traditions. American music is truly product of the multi-ethnic "melting pot" society.

Whatever style of music you prefer, take the time regularly to enjoy your special musical composition. Music is good for your soul!

Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. Music is the key to the female heart.

"A Woman & Her Dreams"

Day dreaming

i'll let my soul fly, fly high up in the sky, visit places that i've never been before, go into forest's and streets and maybe even more, this is my kind of escape, i free my soul from my body and let it levitate, to watch the rest of you people run around in stress and then move on in a hurry, dont wanna stay at this place while other people gets buried, so i fly, fly right over the top of the next hill, dont wanna think about how, many people have been killed, so i search on for a place to rest, my soul is feeling like a heavy chest, filled up with gold, wish i could find such a chest at the end of this road, but i feel tired, i need to relax, but at this moment i wake up, by someone yelling "hey rex, catch" so now i'm back, i grap the thing in the air, thrown towards my head, and think to myself "well your reflexes are'nt totally gone yet.

Music.

Music is like a drug for an addicted mind, it can feel like an emotion, put on rewind, it can feel like anything, from hate to love, and sent you right on a trip to the sky above, fill your head up with chaotic thoughts, or drag you up from a period with depression and loss, but at the end it binds you as a steel chain, to fill you up with happiness when you're out in the rain, or drive you insane, untill you need to clear your mind once again.. Music, it's like a powerfull force, out to make you loose it, without any remorse, to get your anger out, and loose control, to keep your heart pumping when you're out ind the cold, some people is living for it, playing it night and day, saying that they wont quit, but it's not for them to deside, someday the grim reaper will tell them to die, so live your life and live it well, how it will come to an end? even i cant tell..

Midnight Ritual.

.It is midnight, and i am walking alone
walking in the dark, going away from my home
i look to the sky in search for light from the stars
but i see only clouds, and the holes in them looks like enormous scars

I began this ritual, by holding out my arms
to start dancing in this midnight seance
and i've never seen anything like this before
when i began this ritual lightnings lit up the shore

Thunder threated to tear the heavens apart
but all i could see were astonishing art
my sences hightened and i thought of the odds
could this have something to do with ancient gods?

I thought loudly "gods send me a sign or an omen
tell me do you exist, gods Thor and Odin
give me the sign of the hammer and i shall believe thy token".

A lightning shaped like a malice now broke the silence
i took a deep bow in devotion, and thanked the gods for theyr guidence
i've been given a single proof that my belief's were wrong
but will it happen again next time and will the stars be gone?

i cannot tell you the answers, for i do not possess the insight
only the lords of Asgard may know whether if i am wrong or right
"Hail to ye gods, praised be thy wisdom and might"

Admiration.

A woman can be many things. She can be as mysterious as the night, and as beautiful as the nature, when the sun is shining bright, she can be as surprising and thrilling as the differences in the music, depending only on how we use it.. she's the moon at night, and the sun at dawn, she's the mother earth and the dessert storm, she is the sky above and the ocean below, she is as beautiful as the night and the colorfull rainbow..

MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC

Everyone’s life follows the vein of his upbringing. Some people tell stories about a different way of life: experiences, traditions, customs, and routines that are often times exclusive to their families, cultures, or nationalities. While there are many differences among us, we have at least one great thing in common: Music. We all share music. We enjoy music, music, music. Irrespective of language, culture, customs, traditions, nationality, and religion, everyone makes a place for music in his life. Some of us write music. Some of us dance to music. Some of us sing music, and some just listen to it. Music is the thread that weaves our lives together in some way or another.

Consider a party guy who loves Disco, Pop, and Techno. From Donna Summer’s “Last Dance” to Jonas Brothers “Burnin’ Up” to MIA’s “Bamboo Banga,” he has no shortage of fun music to which he can shake his…Hmm! When he’s feeling more subdued and in the mood for a little culture, he appreciates Luciano Pavarotti’s Opera singing, Gustavo Dudamel & Simon Bolivar’s Classical “Fiesta,” and perhaps tops it off with a little Ella Fitgerald, the greatest Jazz songstress of all time. He listens to “Ella Sings Gershwin” and moves on to her lively “Rain on My Parade.” But he’s instantly trapped by her incredible scat, and he throws in her “Black Magic” for good measure. How can he stop there when there’s so much more to "Walk this Way" to? by Run DMC and Aerosmith.

If you walk into an elevator, you’re likely to hear smooth Jazz or Classical music. If you walk into a club, you’re met with a cocktail of funky sounds—Rock, Soul, Hip Hop, Latin, Ska, Metal, Punk, and Rap. If you stroll through a mall or an airport anywhere in the world, there is music in the air. When a baby is put to sleep, the music of a soft lullaby soothes his spirit. There’s music in the streets, churches, synagogues, schools, concerts, clubs, hospitals, homes, restaurants, shopping malls, banquets, and weddings. There is even music at funerals. Music consumes our lives from birth to death, and what a beautiful thing to be cradled by music, music, music!

"Music For The Soul"

" Music In The World Of Hate"

Music has a huge impact to our lives just some people ignore it,if you try to internalized the songs that have a positive lyrics it can do a lot in your daily life:

I can say that music is the best stress reducer...

Listening to good Music is the best technique in handling anger instead of attending an anger management program & waste your money just listen to some relaxing music that can ease your anger & shift your mood into much more calm feeling.

You can try any kind that soothes your ears. But if you want to relax & have a nice rest try listening to instrumental.

Some don't give so much importance to music ,some just think it is just use by those who like to sing & dance & for entertaiment purposes only.

But there are more benefits than you realized in listening to a nice soothing sound, music is the way to a man's heart & soul...

Music can make a big influence in daily our lives,it can change your outlook in a more positive manner.I myself had proven that Music have a very powerful impact in my outlook in life.I can get strength in just listening to music,i get to relax if i'm in tension,i can able to change my mood quickly from being sad to being happy.Music had given me a major shift in my life,i'm just hoping i could share my knowledge that can help others to live a more happier & stress-free life.I won't be ashamed to admit that i had a life that is so much complicated & most people around dragged me down most of the time i feel alone that no one to turn to,no one to speak ,no one would really understand but still i try to be strong & be positive but still i'm still a normal person who get hurts & need an outlet to released my pain. That is why i have this eagerness to make others feel that they are needed & wanted.I want to share them my experiences so could will realized that they are not the only person who suffer.I want to be strong for the people that are weaker than me in that way helping them changed their outlook in life makes me achieve something that my family fails to share with me,the appreciation that i'm worth something.

Music become my friend & confiandant...some may think it crazy but if you will just let the soul of the music enter your heart you can find a feeling of acceptance.I know for some they would not understand what i'm trying to point out.But not try to understand it from an intellectual level but try to understand in your emotional level let your heart interpret it not your mind.

"Your Choice Of Music Best Describes You"

Your Music May Be Destroying Your Performance

Music is commonly used to help induce certain states and feelings. Some music can make us feel more aggressive, or completely relaxed, and still other types of music can induce feelings of nostalgia.

We also know that music and exercise has been going hand in hand since long before Jane Fonda's aerobic videos hit the scene. The right music can help produce energy in the body and in the mind simultaneously. Through actual scientific studies researchers have discovered that the frequencies in some music can actually optimize the flow of energy in the body and brain.

Through their studies researchers have been able to demonstrate how most people live their daily lives in a weakened state and not able reach their full potential as a result of several external reasons. They believed that over 60,000 man-made chemicals in our air, food and water supply actually interrupt the flow of energy in our bodies. In addition, they have also demonstrated how things such as cell phones and mp3 players actually contribute to that weakened state. As a way of counteracting these negative environmental effects some researchers have looked to the possibility of music.

Using the harmonic recording of a monk chanting they discovered that there were actual physiological changes in the body and positive changes in brain wave activity. This inspired a search for other types of music that would reproduce the same effect.

Researchers invited musician Mark Romero to a lecture where they were testing people with a number of different strength, range of motion, flexibility, and applied kinesiology tests. "I actually witnessed how people went physically weak when exposed to some of the negative interrupters such as cell phones and containers that once held chemicals in them. They then had me come up and play some of my music on the guitar and I saw people instantly shift physically in front of my eyes. Where they were weak they instantly became stronger."

What the researchers discovered was that when the right music plays in the athletic environment there is an instant increase in five physical areas strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, and balance. All of these five areas were measured in the same environment with the music playing and without the music.

Through brain mapping they were able to determine that the music created a response in brain waves much like that of athletes in the "zone". The benefits include improved focus, reduced stress, heightened creativity, improved intuition and improved memory. They also noted that the body's ability to heal and recover was greatly enhanced when in this same zone-like state.
Romero was informed by the researchers that his music had tapped into specific frequencies that are able to harmonize the two hemisphere of the brain and align that energy with the body and that his music could be a great tool to assist people in reaching their full potential.

Out of this emerged an amazing musical technology that can instantly put people into this harmonized state enabling them to operate at a higher level of mental and physical performance. Romero now has a wide range of people using the music as a tool to empower them in their life experience and athletic performance.

"I have people who use the music to help reduce stress in the office, and while commuting and dealing with other stressful situations. I also have people that listen to the music while doing yoga and other physical routines and they notice the benefits." says Romero.

Romero also says he has people that swear it helps in sexual performance. I have to admit a CD certainly sounds better than a little blue pill! And if my memory serves me the sound track from "Last Tango in Paris" never hurt any.

"I love you"

"I love you"

Okay, there were other ways to
Leave
Some broken glass that might have us
Help
In this bitter silence, I decided to forgive
The mistakes we can make love too

Okay the little girl in me wanted you often

Almost like a mother, you bordais me, me protégeais

If I stole this blood that would not have to share

At the end of words, dreams
I will scream
I love you, I love you

As crazy as a soldier
As a film star
I love you, I love you
As a wolf, like a king
As a man,
I am not
You see, I love you like that
Okay, I thee entrusted all my smiles, all my
Secrets
Even those whose only brother is the guardian unacknowledged
In this stone house, we looked satan

Dance
I wanted both the War of the body which had the Peace
I love you, I love you

As crazy as a soldier
As a film star
I love you, I love you

As a wolf, like a king
As a man, I am not You see,
I love you like that
I love you, I love you
As crazy as a soldier
As a film star
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you ...

s a wolf, like a king
As a man, I am not You see,
I love you like that
You see how I love you

"Je T'aime"

"Je T'aime" by Lara Fabian

Presque comme une mère, tu me bordais, me protégeais

"Rhythm of Life"

"Have you ever learned any dance step in your life?"

From a slow beat to funky to modern music.
Surely, whatever kind of dance we chose we need to get into the rhythm.....

Same with our lives...... We need to learn how to get into the beat of our life.....
Sadness.......... happiness........... anger........... and even frustrations in life.

Everyday will be a good day if we know how to deal with the beat of life
If we are sad just think of the air we breath......
If we are happy, thank God for giving us this precious life to enjoy everything......
If we are angry, think of your love one and surely we will smile
And when we are frustrated, think of our previous accomplishment in life.

Deal with your feeling accordingly.....
And you will hear the real music of life.......
Which will make you dance for JOY...
