"The World Of Dating"

ABOUT DATING
Dating is any social activity performed as a pair or even a group with the aim of each assessing the other's suitability as their partner in an intimate relationship or as a spouse. The word refers to the act of agreeing on a time and "date" when a pair can meet and engage in some social activity. In many cultural traditions, dates are arranged by a third party, who may be a family member, an acquaintance, or a dedicated matchmaker.

Recently matchmaking services have become popular. Although dating rules in Western popular culture have become more relaxed during the 20th century, there is considerable variation between individuals' values. For example, when the activity costs money, it has traditionally been the man's role to pay (which naturally causes a problem for same-sex couples on a date); in recent times the practice of "going Dutch" (splitting the expenses) has emerged.

Traditional dating activities include sharing entertainment or a meal. In general, a person may date many different partners during the same time period in order to have the best chance of finding their most suitable available mate.

Types of dates

Regular date: a couple meet for an activity. Double date: two couples meet for an activity. Group dating: an activity shared by two or more couples. Blind date: a date where the participants have not met each other personally before (although may have seen each other's pictures); usually set up by a third party or an internet dating service. Long Distance / Holidating: Due to a long distance relationship, dating only when one, or both parties are on holiday or vacation and are together during that time period.

Systems for organizing dates

Online dating:

Instead of using a traditional matchmaker, online dating uses specifically targeted websites to meet new people.

Speed dating:

Where a group of people get together for several hours in a public place to get to know one another better. At one of these speed dating events, each person usually sits with another single member for a set period of time to get to know them better, and then at the predetermined time is asked to move and sit with someone else to repeat the process.

Mobile dating/cell phone dating:

Where text messages to and from a mobile/cell phone carrier are used to show interest in others on the system. Can be web-based or online dating as well depending on the company.

Virtual dating:

A combination of video game playing and dating, where users create avatars and spend time in virtual worlds in an attempt to meet other avatars with the purpose of meeting for potential dates.

Singles events:

Where a group of singles are brought together to take part in various events for the purposes of meeting new people. Events can include such things as parties, workshops and games.

Christian Courtship

This article has been nominated to be checked for its neutrality.Discussion of this nomination can be found on the talk page. (June 2Biblical courtship Christian courtship is a system practiced by some

Christian families where two people figure out if they are to get married without modern dating practices.

Christians who participate in courtship generally believe dating is a means of impersonally "trying someone out" before building a more significant and meaningful relationship. There is an absence of sexual activities, or at the very least an honest attempt to avoid them. On rare occasions some may even refrain from kissing until their wedding day if their convictions lead them to do so.

The courtship is a period of time where the couple build a strong friendship along with the romantic relationship resulting in a strong, non-sexual intimacy between the two. The hope is to set a strong foundation (along with a true faith in God) for a life-long marriage. It is not a chaperoned time, although many may believe it to be.

JewishMain articles:

Jewish view of marriage and shidduch Orthodox Jewish men and women usually meet through matchmakers in a process called a shidduch, for the purpose of marriage.

When Jewish men and women come of marriageable age, their parents usually turn to a matchmaker to help them find an appropriate mate for their children. With the advice of the matchmaker and the consent of the parents the young man and woman meet on a date. If they like each other they continue dating over the course of a few weeks. The decision to marry is made by the couple themselves. Usually the groom is no more than 5 years older than the bride. Marriage age ranges from 17-25, with 18-22 considered the norm.

"The Undying Love"

"Titanic Love"

Persistence is the inevitable key of triumph in love. A lover does not care about his/her ego or materialism while in love. All energy is focused towards winning his/her partner for eternity. Such love is huge in interpreting all meanings of love and can be termed as titanic love. A few useful suggestions for achievement of titanic love are given here.

1.Loyalty and faithfulness earns respect and trust of your lover.

2.Honesty is simple yet possesses far reaching consequences in any relationship and specially in love.

3.The ultimate urge to give love. The formula is lucid enough for everyone, that is , give love and get love.

4.Hate is lethal poison which brings vanity and downfall of even a good solid relationship.

5.Counseling looks funny to some and others feel hesitant over its utility in practical sense. In fact counseling is very vital as it brings a professional opinion to provoke reforms in your relationship. It is clear that when you are advised in any case, actually you are availing an opportunity of sharing someone's wit, along with your own , which helps you to make worse things better.

6.The most loathsome affair involved here is money and materialism. The involvement of some business profit, any type of gain, avarice of money and going for materialistic stuff ruins a relationship for sure. In such case, love is replaced by some kind of proposal to gain money or any other benefits.

7.The concept of love is universal with all its implications and demands. Titanic love is independent of devilish thinking and behavior.
Conclusion:

It is quite transparent that the general needs of titanic love does not rely on lust or greed. The meaningful adaptation of such form and method will definitely help is bringing a distinctively fruitful change in your relationship and will push you towards better understanding of love.

"Love is Magic"

"Fairytale Love"

In the continuous cycle of life people always get the wrong notion about love and it;s aspect, that;s why numerous sad stories about love and relationships emerge in the passage of human civilizations, people seems to fail in seeing that love doesn't only concern with feelings and fairy tales that once you had loved someone everything will be alright.and as far as i know life doesn't work that way,Love is based solely on our decisions to loved and be loved and not a fanciful faculties of our romantic mind.

Fairytales do happen...

just dream & believe...

Love Never Fails

"Don't ever doubt my LOVE,bec.it is only you occupies my mind"

My Response,

Don't ever doubt my love for you.If i could only slap you on your face so you would feel how much I LOVE YOU,I will, kick you on your butt to show you how much i care,I'll do it many... times just to prove how much i care....

And we sat there in such surrean silence...it was as if every second we took in, taught us something new about each other...he smiled and watched me with such a sensitive glare, almost as if he was trying to reassure me things would get better, and yes of course, only in my vivid fantasy world would this slightly occur, I wonder does he too wish this was our reality or is he hoping for any opportunity to rid of me?...oh how I wish you'd only speak to me, even the smallest mumble...how I wish you'd show a mere sense of emotion towards me...towards us...have I not shown the correct form of affection, what am I to do to get the least bit of your attention...your so arrogant at times...yet so full of wisdom...how can someone with such intelligence, with such good sense of situations, not see things crumbling down...

I stare down at you from the balcony, and dare I say, I see nothing, has man forgotten how to express what he feels...you look up, your blank stare slowly kills me inside...I feel you've lost your sense of hope, your integrity, I am almost certain...I refuse to let you go...I refuse to see you in such despair...tears shed do not lessen a man...please break down that wall and let me be your shield...I will fight for you...we will fight together...we will defeat this distress and grow old together and build up our companionship...but is it possible to save the one who does not want to be saved....or am I yet again living life in a simple illusion...

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH...MORE THAN MY LIFE ,SECOND TO GOD

"How to get a Man Propose for Marriage?"

What Makes a Man Want to Marry?

What Makes a Man Want to Get Married?

It’s a question a lot of women I know ask themselves over and over. Why am I not attracting a guy who wants to get married? If they have a certain guy in mind they wonder, “What is he looking for?” or “How can I get him to marry me?” or “Why hasn’t he asked me to get married?” They don’t know what it is that compels a man to marry but they suspect it is something they can influence.

Some of us try being sexy, fun and playful thinking that a man will be lured in and want to stay. Some of us try to be indispensable, nurturing him so well that he’ll want you in his life indefinitely. Whatever way you’ve played it, most of us will try everything we can to be what we think he wants us to be.

And that’s the thing, we women get caught up in “what can I do to make him love me?” (consciously or subconsciously) And the underlying thought behind that is “what’s not right with me.” We’ll talk more about that later.

So once we try our hardest to get him to love us (aka marry us) and it doesn’t work, we end up thinking he’s just a jerk or he can’t commit. Then several guys later, we tend to think there are just a bunch of jerks or commitment-phobes out there. But then… sometimes shockingly, he marries the next girl. We wonder “what didn’t I do right and/or what does she have that I don’t.” Then eventually you’re saying to yourself, “what’s wrong with me?”

If you look at married women, they’re usually not what you’d think of as the perfect woman. You wonder how is it that some of them got their husbands to marry them. And that’s just it. Many of these women didn’t “get” their husbands to marry them. The men chose to marry these women.

So who do men choose to marry?

Alison Armstrong, the creator of “Understanding Men” seminars says that men marry their wives. And she’s right. But what does that mean?
Men will be attracted to and want to date the sexy, playful “Temptress” type. And men will hang out and live for years with the nurturing “Mother” types or a combination of the two. These qualities are important in attracting a man and in sustaining a relationship… but who men will want to marry is a woman that inspires them and feels like their “Queen”.

What does a Queen look like?

This woman will be able to run his castle, hold down the fort when he’s away and watch his back. She has the confidence of a queen, a clear vision of who she is and how to be in command of their realm. She feels like his rock. This is what inspires the man and makes him feel like he can be king of his kingdom.

Men recognize whether a woman is their queen (or not) fairly quickly. It doesn’t take long and then they can’t wait to get married. Armstrong says instinctively after nine months, a woman is usually disappointed if he hasn’t popped the question, but she’ll keep hoping holiday after holiday, year after year that it’ll happen. Not coincidentally, it takes nine months to create a baby… and it doesn’t take much longer for a man to know whether you’re it or not.
The key thing is that a man has to see you as his wife (his queen) and must must must feel inspired to want to marry you.

So how do I become this inspiring Queen?

One of the most important qualities in the queen is confidence. And one thing I’ve heard out of the mouths of men in Armstrong’s seminars is that probably the most attractive attribute is a woman’s confidence. It’s an inner confidence that he’s talking about– knowing who she is, holding herself in high regard and being comfortable in her own skin.

How can I show a man that kind of confidence?

If you are with a man and you’re saying to yourself (consciously or subconsciously) “what’s not right with me?” he will see it. Inner confidence starts with loving and accepting yourself and all that you are. If you feel valuable and worthy with or without him, he will sense this. If you honor and respect yourself, he will see that.

Inner confidence allows a woman to be real, to show her real self.In Armstrong’s seminars, men also said they are attracted to genuine women. A man can smell fakeness a mile away—so that means he can tell if you are trying to be something you are not in order to attract him! Self-acceptance actually allows you to truly be yourself.

So you’re saying if I truly love and accept myself so will a man?

Yes, it’s more likely to happen than not. Why? Because it’s easy to fall in love with someone who loves themselves. If he can see what you love about yourself, you make it easy for him to fall in love. And more importantly, if you are truly being yourself around him he can clearly see if you are his queen. If you fit his personal definition of his queen, then a man will feel inspired to make you a permanent fixture in his life. (If you don’t fit his idea of his wife, he may hang out for years, even decades, but not feel inspired to marry.)

Armstrong also says attracting a man and creating a lasting, happy marriage requires more than just being his queen.A “Queen” can rule his world, but you will keep him happy and interested if you’re also a little bit of the nurturing “Mother” and the playful “Temptress”.
What if I truly feel confident and I love and accept myself, but I’m still not attracting “the marrying man”?

If you have the self-accepting inner confidence of the “Queen”, but not the playful, flirty “Temptress and the nurturing “Mother” side showing, then a man may not see the balance that he needs in a wife. Not only do men crave those feminine sides of us, but those aspects fulfill other sides of who we really are as women. Expressing all three is fulfilling and rewarding to both ourselves and our men (or the man you want to attract).

And if you’re in a relationship that hasn’t led to marriage, there may be something there you need in order to learn to be “Queenly” and to be ready for your king.

START BY LOVING AND ACCEPTING ALL THAT YOU ARE. AND WHEN YOU MEET HIM, LIVE UNAPPOLOGETICALLY BY FULLY BEING YOURSELF! THE RIGHT MAN WILL SEE
YOU AS HIS QUEEN.

"Be Irresistible to Men"

Learn infallible strategies for making yourself irresistible to men.

Have you ever wondered why some women never seem to be able to find or hold on to one man while some others attract men wherever they go-school, work, church, parks, grocery stores…even the vet's office-and never seem to have a shortage of them?

Do you think some women are natural born man magnets and others are man repellents?

The truth of the matter is some women simply have a nearly infallible ability to attract men. Some women have this ability naturally. But there's no need to despair if you aren't one of those lucky ladies, because any woman can be taught how to make herself irresistible to men.

The Difference Between What Men and Women Want From Relationships

There is an old saying that men use love to get sex and women use sex to get love. There is definitely truth in that old adage. Men and typically, at least at the beginning of a relationship, want very different things. Most single heterosexual women want to be in a healthy, permanent, committed and monogamous relationship with a man who treats her like a goddess and loves her relentlessly. On the other hand, most single heterosexual men want to avoid commitment at all costs, and want to go out and have fun (i.e., sex) with as many attractive, sexy, uninhibited women as they possible.

Are you beginning to envision women with nets chasing after men who are running for their freedom?
Obviously, this presents a dilemma. Fortunately, it is not an insurmountable one. Most men eventually come around to actually desiring to be in a committed relationship at one point (using just as their hairlines begin to noticeably recede). Some men become good husband material and get ready to settle down sooner than others, and some, of course, never do. But that's alright, there's no point in wasting your time, effort or energy on men who don't share your relationship objectives. Think of managing relationships as a business; avoid markets that have no potential for profitability.
What Men Want In A Woman (Besides A Nymphomaniac)

You might think that you'd need to look like a supermodel to attract a man. Fortunately, this is not true, or there'd be a lot of average- and less-than-average-looking women who wouldn't have a snowball's chance in you know where of ever landing a man. But the truth of the matter is a lot of women who would never be crowned Miss America (or even be named a runner up) are blissfully in love with men who love them deeply and passionately. Be assured that regardless of what you look like you can experience the love and romance you desire and enjoy a wonderfully fulfilling relationship with a man who will love you for the rest of your life.

So what do men want in a woman? Men want a woman they can love, cherish and respect, and who will love, cherish and respect them back. Men want a woman who exudes confidence. Men want a woman who thinks she's all that because she is all that. Men want a woman whose inner beauty eclipses her outward appearance. Men want a woman who knows who she is, and who is comfortable in her own skin. Men want a woman who loves them unconditionally, who respects them immensely, who has eyes only for him and who satisfies him sexually.
In other words, men want a woman who they can respect and be proud of, and who makes him feel like the smartest, most handsome, sexiest, most virile man alive! What will ultimately make a man fall in love with you (and stay in love with you) is how you make him feel about himself.

How to Make Yourself irresistible to men

Now that you know what men really want in a woman, you can do what it takes to make yourself irresistible to the men you find desirable.
Here's what you need to do to make yourself irresistible to the men you're interested in romancing:
Be approachable.
Be generous with your warm smile.
Let your pleasing personality shine through.
Share your contagious sense of humor with him.
Accentuate your best features.
Where clothing that flatters your figure.
Let your every action and movement reflect your intelligence, poise, charm, integrity, grace and confidence.
Treat your man like the king he is.
Tell your man how much you love, cherish, adore, respect, need and value him.

Be sexually adventurous, uninhibited and insatiable
These strategies will help you become as attractive to men as honey is to bees. Go ahead and implement them, and enjoy the love and romance you so richly deserve!

"What Men Really Wants?"

What a ManReally Wants

Though primarily addressed to the women, most men who happen to feel drawn to read this article will find themselves doing so with a touch of curiosity. Of course, they think they already know what a man wants and are curious as to whether I am going to say something different or not.

They think a man wants a good looking woman. Foremost, last and always. And though, as a man, I know where they're coming from, what a man is really looking for is something much deeper than that. He is wanting something to reassure him that he is an alright guy, that he is an okay person, that he is worth something. In short, what a man really wants is validation.

He seeks this in many ways, a primary vehicle of which is his relationship with women. Something instinctive tells him that she can make him alright. Whether it be by how pretty a woman he can keep at his side, or by the scorecard of how many women he has vanquished in some romantic fashion, he sometimes goes through an entire lifetime attempting to feel good about himself through having relationships with women.HarveyIn the classic movie taken from the play Harvey, with Jimmy

Stewart, there is a scene in which a very rigid psychiatrist, Dr. Willie Chumley, begins to let down his emotional defenses and reveal his true desires in life. He said if his fondest wish were to come true, it would be to just lie in his comfortable chair for hours and have some compassionate female simply rubbing his head, saying over and over, "Poor boy!"The humor in the character is the fact that there is a little bit of Dr. Chumley in every man. Down deep he wants to be unconditionally loved just like a little boy by a perfect, loving mother.Pride, of course, causes that vulnerability to be hidden as a man grows from childhood into manhood. First it is hidden from others and then at last it is hidden from himself, but it is still there waiting to be discovered.

Meanwhile, man begins to seek some sort of gratification as a substitute for this missing unconditional love from a source he can look up to, and he usually turns to those substitutes that never quite fill him up, emotionally speaking. There is always something lacking, or as the Rolling Stones have said and capitalized on, he "can't get no satisfaction".The Key to Winning a Man's HeartBut the fact remains, he is vulnerable…very vulnerable.

And for that wise woman who understands this it provides an opening to secure the man of her choice like spearing fish in a barrel! You see, most men going around trying to sport a good looking woman on their arm, or keeping lists of their female conquests, for one reason and one reason alone: It gives them a sense of validation and being worth something, and that is a feeling they desperately feel the need for.The only problem is, this kind of validation is temporary and fleeting and, like a drug or alcohol, only leaves him feeling empty and in need of another fix as soon as a little time has gone by.Man's greatest vulnerability is not a physical need, but a psychological one. It is the need to be loved, but not just loved by anyone - to be loved by someone he senses is emotionally independent and strong.

This kind of love is validating and worthwhile. So, if you as a woman wish to stand out and make a difference to the man of your dreams you have to make up your mind not to be weak. You must demonstrate in your every action that, though you may derive great enjoyment and fulfillment in the company of the man you want, you still have the capacity to survive very well and go on with your life and be happy without him if he ever takes you for granted or misuses you.

A man may think he needs a bimbo by his side to show off to the other guys, but in his heart he knows he's perpetrating a fraud. She may help him make the other guys jealous, evoking a kind of prideful satisfaction in one way on his part, but in his heart he knows she's not what he really wants or needs. He's compromised for this because he's lacking the real thing he wants. No, what a man really wants is a woman who loves him in spite of himself, but won't put up with his bull.

Validate Your ManHere are several key points to remember, in trying to bring true love into your life and into the life or the man you choose:

Come to terms with the fact that you don't need anyone to be happy in your life. You may want someone very badly, but in the end you must come to accept the reality that you will always somehow survive if it doesn't happen and you will make the best of what life gives you.

Make up your mind that you will not ever tolerate being disrespected, disregarded, misused, abused, or used in any fashion whatsoever. You need not revile against someone who so treats you, but you definitely make your absence felt in their life when they do so.

Be reserved in the love you shower upon your man. You may bestow limited tokens of cherishing, but if they are not reciprocated in quantity and kind, back off or your love will become less and less appreciated and ultimately despised.

Learn to listen objectively, and to reflect feelings expressed by him without advising, criticizing, or trying to change him. Don't even offer too much sympathy, lest it be quickly taken for granted.

Don't be afraid to be without him for extended periods of time. When he is out of your life, make sure that your life is as happy and productive and fruitful as it ever is when he's around. At the same time, don't throw out a welcome mat that says "Walk On Me!!" the minute he starts coming back around. Show pleasure to see him again, but be restrained.

Conclusion

In essense, then, you have in it the power to calm your troubled man like a little boy in his mother's arms. Therein lies what a man really wants: a Woman who nurtures him but who he can look up to and knows won't take any of his guff.Be caring, but be strong. Therein lies the key to fulfilling a man's heart.

You may wonder why I'm so concerned about meeting the man's needs and not yours, but that's another article. If he isn't fulfilling your needs you're definitely choosing the wrong man.But if you've got the right man and you become What He Really Wants, such a love must be clung to with all the strength you can muster. For such a love is attainable, but rare in this world of ours.

"What Man Truly Needs"

The Inner Needs of Man

Author: P.Rajagopalachari(Published in "Principles of Sahaj Marg, Set I. Pages 56-64")

Man has been defined in various ways. He has been called a social animal. In a cosmic sense, he is a universe in himself when compared to an atom, and in turn is but an atom when compared to the universe. He is stated to stand mid-point between the atom and the universe. But a simple description could be that man is a complex of physical and emotional needs.

All living beings have needs which must be fulfilled if they are to survive. The basic needs are the very obvious ones such as food, shelter, protection from the environment, a mate, etc. When man existed at the level of the animal, the needs were basic to his existence and were comparatively easily fulfilled, even though his existence was, in what is usually called today, a primitive state. Nevertheless, primitive man would appear to have been a much happier and more contented person than modern man, perhaps for the very simple reason that there was no confusion in his appraisal of his needs, and therefore his approach to their satisfaction could be direct and immediate. Certainly primitive man did not have all the traumas, psychoses, neuroses and the whole gamut of psychological illnesses that appear to accompany human life throughout the span of its existence today.

How has it come about that simple primitive man could be happy in such adverse environmental conditions, while facing extreme conditions of life where every moment of survival was a victory over his environment and his foes, whereas modern man, with all the conveniences and appurtenances of life, a life which has been made so easy to live that very often the minimum of physical activity is all that is needed, and where almost everything that he needs is at hand, or can be easily acquired without much personal effort or danger-how is it that in such an existence we find man unable to live in peace either with himself or with his surroundings .

The aim of life, since the dawn of this century, appears to have become nothing less than an affluent existence made possible by the gigantic and incomparable advances in science, which in turn made possible revolutionary developments in technology. One of the great economists of the West has indeed termed modern society as the affluent society and paralleling this growth in affluence, we find a development below the surface of more misery than history would appear to indicate as prevalent in any past era. There were many dark periods in human history filled with much suffering arising out of lack of physical needs, strife, bigotry, but all these led or would appear to have led to nothing more than physical suffering. But the suffering today has been shifted in plane to the mental level, and the greatest suffering of the affluent is at this level. By comparison, the less developed societies of the Orient would appear to enjoy better mental health even today, though their physical levels of existence may very often appear shocking to the Western eye. What is the reason for this almost inexplicable state of affairs? I would venture to suggest that perhaps our needs and the way we approach the satisfaction of those needs is at least one factor contributing to the madness of modern existence.

There is a significant differentiation between needs and wants. Needs are legitimate, and man can legitimately expect such needs to be satisfied. Wants, on the other hand, are creations of man from his knowledge of the external world. Needs arise from inside whereas wants arise from outside. If needs were all that are to be fulfilled, people and governments would have a very easy time doing so. But it is precisely the ever-increasing wants of today's society and individuals that are found to be difficult and often well-nigh impossible of satisfaction. Indeed it would be correct to go a step further and say that today's orientation in society is towards enlarging wants and even towards creating more and more wants to keep the wheels of industry spinning. Our society may therefore be termed a society dedicated primarily to the creation of wants, which later it sets out to satisfy. Needs are limited, therefore easily satisfied, and once satisfied, man is at rest. Wants, on the other hand, have no limit, and each want satisfied gives rise to the next want based on the prior satisfaction of the earlier one.

Therefore, it is a vicious spiral mounting in its demands, and developing in the individual and society a frenzied craving for its satisfaction, but the goal ever recedes from the grasp of the individual. This is one of the main reasons for the psychological condition of today's individual. Society is after all composed of individuals and can reflect nothing but the sum total of individual attitudes and aspirations.

Analyzing our needs, the most apparent one of course is the physical need for food and shelter. Food must be such as will not only be palatable but also will refresh and add strength to the body. This is, or should be, the primary consideration. Naturally, the body has to be strengthened by opposing it to external forces of nature, and the simplest way is physical exercise. Therefore, there are two aspects to physical existence, one is the provision of fuel for the inside, and the other is the pitting of the body against the external world to develop its strength, ability and other associated physical characteristics.

At the mental level, applying the same formula, what the mind needs is food for its existence, and solid effort in overcoming mental obstacles for its development. Man must devote adequate time to the study of such literature as will enrich his mind, and the literature should be of such quality and quantity as to make him throw his entire mental equipment into the study of such works. Unfortunately today we find that what most people read is the lowest type of literature such as the yellow journals, cheap romances, gory criminal fiction and so on. That such minds do not develop at all beyond the juvenile level is therefore no surprise. The curricula of most educational institutions do not appear to take this into adequate consideration from the point of view of the needs of the student.

Thirdly, coming to the emotional level of man, here again what emotional sustenance man receives is very often of the wrong type. Love is one of the fundamental aspects of man's existence, and in the fulfillment of this very vital emotional need such irrelevant media as romantic literature, cinemas and casual liaisons are indulged in, discovering too late that none of these can satisfy the pent up emotion where what is needed is a steady and canalized outlet for the emotional power of man which rarely needs, physical expression. It is a well-recognized fact that the physical expression of love must succeed the mental development of love or emotional development of love. But in modern society things are topsy-turvy, with very tragic consequences. The latest manifestation of such an unfulfilled need is the fast spreading drug habit combined with, or preceded by, a loose set of moral values.

Perhaps I may add that, as far as the emotional life of man is concerned, religions were expected, in a very fundamental measure, to make available an object of adoration or love which could elevate human emotional life to sublime levels far above the ordinary human level. The present day mental condition of most people would appear to indicate that religions, too, have not been able to play their part. Here again what man solidly needs is something, which he can venerate and adore, but all that is offered in most religions is an idol or other representational form of the deity. And the only way he is taught of approaching such an object of adoration is the ritualistic way which is largely outmoded and which, to the mind of modern man, very often appears as mere child's play.

We all know that while the non-satisfaction of purely physical needs may at worst impair the physical organization in some way or the other, albeit not very seriously, the non-satisfaction of emotional needs is much more serious. In the field of emotion, love is dominant, supported by, and evoking in its turn, such sentiments as faith, hope, charity, courage, etc. If this basic emotional instinct is unfulfilled, such associated mental-physical complexes cannot manifest themselves. It is well known that where there is no love there can rarely be courage, and I would request you here not to confuse courage with sheer bravado or the front-line necessity to kill. Similarly, where there is no love, there can be no faith, charity or chastity and, therefore, existence devoid of love is an empty existence.

Love must grow and embrace more and more within its orbit of expression. Love for one's wife must enlarge into a deep love for the family resulting from such love. Familial love must grow to include neighbors, for, after all, if a neighbor is sick, notwithstanding the marvels of modern medicine, we are likely to be the next victims; if the neighbor is poor, his poverty affects us; if he is the victim of gangsters and hoodlum attacks, we are sure to feel the repercussions. So our neighbor's well being is a matter of immediate concern to us. Thus, slowly, as love matures, it must widen in scope until ultimately it envelops the entire universe within its sublime embrace. Spiritual Masters says that the only way of approaching the Ultimate is through love.

What we all need is a god, or if you prefer to call it so, a Universal Power or anything like that, but what we need is such an entity as we can approach with love and reverence. This would appear to be a spiritual need, higher than the other needs. Even an atheist would agree that there are times in his life when he has, perhaps unconsciously, cried out to God for succor, only proving that the need for God is universal in its prevalence. When we negate such a need, we do so artificially without knowledge of the frightful consequences of such repudiation. The time has, therefore, come to re-establish in our minds the truth that God is necessary to us, whether He is visible or invisible. Whether He can manifest himself or not is not the point. What He is must ever remain a mystery because what is known has no mystery about it, and only the unknown is mysterious.

As the old English proverb would have it, "Familiarity breeds contempt," and it is perhaps for this reason that God chooses to remain invisible and inaccessible! But this does not mean that God's existence and love cannot be experienced, God cannot be seen or known in the conventional sense, but His presence can be experienced if the approach is in the right way.How to bring God into our lives is the question. The first need of course is to recognize that we need Him. This paramount inner need, a universal need in the minds of all men everywhere, is inextinguishable. When we recognize this we are ready to accept spiritual help. We naturally look for spiritual schools, books and yoga centers. Yoga means union. The union is the ultimate union of man and his Creator, and no lesser union is implied. And This is the greatest need of man!

"How to have a strong relationship?"

What a girl needs most is love.
What a guy needs most is respect.
The most important thing for a girl is her heart.
For a guy it's his ego.
Give your man his own time and space. Let him have his time for his friends, sports, family, self, and God.
The relationship will grow old quickly if you're always together.
Give him time to miss you and you'll see how he will love you more. If the guy is obsessed and just wants to be with you all the time, tell him you can't respect a "puppy" for long.Do things differently anytime so that even if you've been together a long time, there is always something fresh and new. Variety is the spice of life. Keep the excitement! Discover something you both like to do and enjoy it TWOgether.
For things that you differ, compliment each other by learning more about it.
If you love someone, both your efforts to try patching up will go a looooong way. You'll understand him later if you have disagreements. Pray with holding hands
Sounds corny? Maybe, but its very powerful. If your partner is God-fearing, you will be confident enought that he will not do anything foolish because
He knows God sees everything he does in secret.
You take the initiative that before you part after a date, with hands held and eyes closed,
pray to God to bless you two.
Believe me it's effective. Ever since, praying is not corny.
Believe in "Magic".
do sweet little things for the one you love
The memories will be fun to recall later in life. The corniest song or gift or letter is always a sure hit. True love brings out the best in each otherFind something good in your Partner and nurture it, encourage it and of course, ENJOY it.
It's healthy to fight.
It is that time when you patch up your fights and will be able to test how strong your relationship have become. You will also get to know him better.
Its called test of fire.
It is not important how frequent you fight. What matters is how often you become friends again. You get more worried when your relationship is too perfect and always happy. One big fight and that's it! Isn't it more exciting the second time around with him?
But don't overdo it. It's tiring too if we always say sorry and always win him back . Choose your battles. You will experience different stages of your relationships especially you've been together long. Grow with it. Don't expect him to be like the first time you were just starting.
'Coz like a student, they don't teach grade 6, lessons for grage 2.
Change WILL happen... you both will change and your love WILL change too.
It's up to you if the change will be for the better or for the worse.
Life is about growth. Grow with it.
When break up comes and it's time to say goodbye, don't doubt the love just because it didn't last.
There are certain things that even if it does not last long, it doesn't mean it was not true.
Some good things are just never meant to last forever.
It's Okay. Bless the parting and move on. Expect tears, sorrow, sleepless nights and pain.
As the saying goes- "it's when you hurt the worse that you love the MOST."
If you're not willing to go through pain, then don't attempt to start loving. Life is a balance.
And love is both holding on and letting go.
Know when to fight for your man and when to let him go.
God will guide you what to do in those situations.
So your heart signal to heaven must be higher than your mobile phone to know His wisdom.

"Online Relationship"

How to Maintain an Online Relationship

Being in a relationship has its perks, but they all take work, especially long-distance relationships or relationships essentially rooted over MSN or Email.

Steps

Try to talk every day for atleast an hour or longer. Take out time to be online, and work around your schedules to have an uninterrupted hour together everyday.
Avoid Distraction. When you're talking to your significant other, talk to them exclusively, even if it's just for a little bit. It's like the online equivalent of a date or talking on the phone, and if you can give them your undivided attention then, why not online as well?

Use programs that enable you to talk to them, such as the Voice Conversation feature of MSN or Skype. MSN and Emails are good, but nothing beats talking to someone.

Enforce the sense of closeness by asking him to play music for you over Voice Conversation, or using Voice Clips. If you both like, you could sing favorite songs together over VC, and take turns to play music for each other.

To keep the spice in the relationship, send each other random playful emails at unusual or unexpected times of the day. There's nothing more pleasant than coming home after a long day and finding an unexpected sweet email waiting for you.

Remember important events, such as a test they've been stressing about, and email them a good luck card [plenty of websites allow you to do so for free]
Play games together online. MSN offers some good online games, and several PC games can be played with a partner, such as Audi. This once again gives a feeling of closeness despite not being physically together.

Consider making a joint email account if you don't want anyone else to accidentally read an email your significant other sends you or visa versa. Make it something to do with you both, such as your names or birthdays or even favorite songs/bands, and send emails from your account to that account for them to read.
Play the Anywhere Anytime Anyhow game, which works great if you both have Blackberries [which allow instant email updates] where one person emails the other person a task and no matter what the person's doing, they have to complete the task [make the tasks fun!]

Be romantic and send the other person random gifts, which can work even if the couple lives in different countries by checking out websites that delivers flowers/teddies in their country and placing an order online.

Use MSN to your advantage. For MSN users, let your display pictures be pictures of the two of you, and sync your MSN nicks [such as both use a line from a song you both like, or have your personal message as a countdown for when you see them next]

Be involved in the other person's life. Sometimes having an online relationship can really work for you in the sense that you have things written down [in emails or conversations] and they make good reference to go over in case you're bad with names or can't keep incidents straight in you head, or simply want to double check something they said. Ask them specific questions which show that you're involved in their life.

Having a fight online is probably one of the worst things because its so easy to cut someone out if internet is the only connection between you two. Also it's hard to tell the tone from a bunch of words written on a page. Always, always, always take a step back, calm down before hastily replying and back off if you need to. Sometimes you may not mean something harsh, but the other person won't realize that and get hurt.

Limit joking/sarcasm to phone conversations. Sometimes people get mixed messages from being unable to tell the tone, and don't understand if it was said in a jocular manner or if the other person meant it.

"What it feels like being dumped?"

Why Men Dump Women

Why men dump women is a constant question asked by women and many times asked by the men themselves, most of the time there is no one real answer that stands out for either male or female besides infidelity. To most that is a pretty good indication the relationship is over.
Many women think that their guy dumped them because they nagged too much. C'mon what is the definition of nagging any way? I just Googled "nagging" and it came back with everything between talking to much to talking to loud, a woman who is unappreciated by her man and won't listen to her, to a woman who is hassling her man. Listen ladies men do not leave their woman due to "nagging".

Men will claim to leave their woman due to being pressured for a commitment. Yes this can be a valid reason, if you just met your guy a few months ago and your making remarks about forever, yes this can scare a man off in a red hot second. At the same time if you have been in a committed relationship for quite a while then you know what your man's feelings are towards commitment, to an extent anyway. I mean hey, if your playing house and its all-good why would he want a change? On the other hand if you and your guy have gradually taken steps to making your relationship more serious and you both take the relationship serious, then you could assume a next step when it's right will happen. What that step is, is for you two to decide. I guess what I am saying is if he treats you second rate, cheats on you, hangs with you when his friends are busy and you accept it, I guarantee he very well will or could leave you and use commitment pressure as a reason if he hasn't yet. We both know commitment won't be or was not the reason he left, he left because he used you and got tired of it! Real hard fact here - no man who's truly into his woman is going to treat her like I just described, so if this is you, get out, or get some respect for yourself and demand it from him.

Women have heard men dump them because they are too needy. Yea this may be a valid reason, but more than not just something to say to drop you. Sure if you live as you cannot function without your guy at your side then he's going to book. I mean how did you make it this far and if you ever do want marriage how are you going to take care of your man's children?..Please! More times than not needy is an excuse to dump you.

Now another answer to why men dump women that is popular is, overbearing. A woman who demands 100% attention, who wants what she wants period, who keeps her guy in sight at all times is a woman who will surely be dumped and never given a second thought. Listen were capable believe it or not, he got this far without you and you may influence but don't live to tell him what to do or he will move on without you.

Women think a man will dump them if their looks change, well here's a surprise, a boy will, not a man. Listen if there is real feelings for his woman a man will not dump his girl due to a weight change. Now hold on if there are two of you in the mirror and there wasn't before then that's a different story. If you don't respect yourself how can he? Ladies take care of yourself and looks will not be an honest reason he dumps you.

This perspective on why men dump women is totally from a man's point of view, an adult not a boy. I am someone who has had both serious and non serious relationships with women. I believe every excuse I mentioned here is a valid reason for a man to leave a woman if said actions took place.

With that being said if there is real respect for his woman, genuine feelings, and a caring attitude for his lady I think a man would use the reasons above as untrue excuses to leave a relationship that has become stale, boring, predictable or all of them.

If you have just been dumped or have a feeling you might be, then you need to figure out why. Is one of the reasons above true? If it is, grab hold of yourself, get a grip and remember you had that special something that attracted him to you to begin with.

If your guy has or is falling away from you, get him back. Read on to find out the true one thing a man requires in a serious relationship and if you give it to him he will never leave. It's not to late if you truly love him to get to the real reason for your man troubles and find out if your relationship is truly over or not. Calm yourself by knowing in your heart the right answer.

"Trust in a Relationship"

10 Crucial and Surprising Steps to Build Trust in a Relationship

1. Be predictable. When do seeds of suspicion emerge? When one begins to think, What's up? Why is he doing that? He's never done that before. That is so unlike him. He loses 30 pounds, buys a new wardrobe and comes home late from work. He changes his patterns. His behavior becomes unpredictable. You get the picture? Any movement away from predictable behavior can become suspect and trust can deteriorate. Focus on acting predictably if you need to build trust. Be consistent in what you do. This doesn't mean you must be boring. If there is a twinkle in your eye and a dose of spontaneity every so often, for goodness sakes be spontaneous and fun loving. But, be spontaneous consistently! Be true to who you have always been and be that consistently, whoever you tend to be!

2. Inform your significant other when you become "unpredictable." No one goes through life the same person. We all make shifts and changes. Frankly sometimes we may be fairly clueless about what is happening and where we are going. Those times may be very intense and we do some silly things or make some downright dumb decisions. Life can get very squirrelly and unpredictable. (I have a favorite phrase: Gold is refined through intense heat.) Growth in an individual, marriage or family often is accompanied by a little chaos. Welcome these shifts, for there is a part of you searching for something better/different/richer/deeper, but for heaven's sake, inform your partner of what you are experiencing. Say, "I really don't know what is going on in me right now, but I'm moving in a different direction. Be a little patient with me while I figure this out. I might do some silly things, but my intent is not to harm you or scare you. Accept some of my wondering and wandering and please be there for me? I may need to run some of this by you every so often!"

3. Make sure your words match the message. Mean what you say and say what you mean. When your partner hears one thing in your words but your tone of voice, body language and facial expressions are really saying something else, you open the relationship to some crazy making days. Which message is she to believe? This can waste a tremendous amount of energy and she learns not to trust part of what you are saying. Here's a very simple but common example. You are getting ready to go to a formal dinner. Your wife comes to you and says, "How do I look?" (And she's wearing a dress you don't particularly like and her hair is pulled back in a way that turns you off.) Not to spoil the evening you enthusiastically say, "You look great." You don't really mean it and a part of her knows you really don't mean it. But, you leave it at that. This might not seem like a big deal - we all have done something similar - but if trust is shaky to begin with, it is even shakier now. Here's how to match the words with the nonverbal: "I think you are a beautiful person. I want you to know that. I love you dearly and it will be wonderful to have you by my side tonight. Others will see your beauty. (As you say this, you look into her eyes as you put your hands around her waist.) She's not concerned so much with how she looks but is expressing a need for affirmation. She's not talking about her dress or hair, but about wanting to know the evening is going to go just fine. You respond to the real message. You can take this one step further, if you like. At some point you might bring up her need for affirmation and talk about that. Ask her is there is anything you can say or do so that need is met. Trust is awareness of the intent beneath the obvious message and responding to that!

4. Believe the other person is competent. I hear this phrase very often: "But, I don't want to hurt him." A couple things are at play here. First, she may not have the skill of confronting the other with the truth in a way that brings reconciliation and understanding. She believes truth telling is destructive or entails some sort of drama. Neither is true. The truth is never destructive and can be conveyed in loving ways. (With that said, what we believe to be the truth may indeed be a distorted perception that fits our personal needs.) Or, she may see the other person as a wimp; someone she believes cannot handle rigorous personal confrontation. She doesn't trust that the other person has the internal strength or stamina or skills to be in a relationship of mutual respect and equality. The other person picks up on this mistrust and does what he does (feigns inadequacy and incompetence) to avoid the personal confrontation as well. A dance is acted out. Believe and know in your heart that the other person, somewhere and somehow, beneath the games, has the internal strength and capacity to handle anything. Such trust builds trust in the other person and begins to pervade the relationship. "Hey, she thinks I can handle this! Hmmmm, this is mighty good! I CAN engage her and be truly intimate!"

5. Be very very careful of keeping secrets. If he knows there is an elephant in the room and doesn't talk about it, the elephant takes up tremendous space in the relationship. It takes energy for him to walk around it. She may not see the elephant but knows he is bending his neck to look around something. She will be curious, mildly disturbed, have feelings but no words to wrap around them, might wonder if something is wrong with her or struggle with trusting her intuition (her intuition KNOWS an elephant is there.) And, when we can't trust the messages that come from within us, we find it very difficult to trust the messages of the other person. Secrets demand tremendous energy and erode trust. The relationship is doomed never to experience wall-banging intimacy. This is why extramarital affairs are so damaging. She is not so much concerned about him having sex with someone else as she is about the betrayal, lack of trust, the secrets and deception that are crazy making and energy draining. Now, please. I'm not saying that you sit your partner down and divulge the 23 secrets of your illicit past behaviors. If you have resolved those, i.e. forgiven yourself, understand those behaviors, learned from them and were able to use them to make the internal shifts necessary for your personal development, they do not qualify as an elephant. Hopefully, in the course of growing intimacy in your relationship you may want to share some of those events as you disclose to your partner where you were and where you are now. You do so without emotional charge. However, if a secret takes up room, i.e. still has an emotional charge and holds you back from disclosing more and more of yourself in the growing stages of intimacy, you have a problem that needs to be addressed with your partner.

6. Let YOUR needs be known - loudly. Be a little - no, be a lot - self-centered. (Be self-centered, but not selfish!) Here's a problem I run into almost every day. He is backing away (perhaps attached to work, another person, etc.). She feels the trust and intimacy eroding, is scared and wants to "win him back." So she begins an all out effort to "work on the marriage." She invites him to do so as well. He may reluctantly agree. She blasts full throttle ahead trying to "be nice" and meet every need he ever said he had. She's going to "fill his tank with goodies." Doesn't work. Her eyes are riveted on him. He feels "smothered" or maybe even resentful: "Why is she doing this NOW!" She's hopeful, but eventually that turns to resentment. Her underlying motive - if I meet his needs, he will feel good and meet mine - just doesn't work. It's perceived as manipulation, which it is. Of course, he doesn't say anything. After all, how do you get angry with someone who is so "nice and caring?" Trust disintegrates under a blanket of quiet niceties. Start with your eyes focused on YOU. What do YOU need? Explore your personal need system. Dig beneath the surface. And then say to him: "I need…x, y and z. I would like to talk to you about them. I would like us to work out a way so my needs are met. Are you open to that?" He is empowered to say yes or no. Or, he may say, "What about my needs?" You respond, "I am very interested in hearing what is important to you, certainly." Have you ever been around someone who stated clearly what they needed/wanted? Didn't you respect that person? Because you knew where he stood, and therefore where you stood, didn't that interaction move toward a trusting relationship?

7. State who YOU are - loudly. It is very sad to see those in relationships of emotional investment hold back from letting the other person know who they really are. You build trust in a relationship by entrusting your SELF to the other person. This sounds easy but I find it difficult for most to pull off. Most of us have a difficult time declaring our SELF. For one thing, if you're like most of us, you haven't given much thought to what it is that makes YOU truly YOU. Don't you feel like you glide through life on autopilot, focusing on tasks, goals, accomplishments, problems and the external realities? Don't you tend to focus on those things out there or that person out there? You're concerned about what he is thinking, how he is responding to you, whether he likes you, whether he will be an obstacle and where he will fit in your life? Your conversations may be pleasant but fairly superficial and bluntly, boringly inane. You converse about things/relationships/events out there. You are reluctant to share your thoughts, values, and impressions or take a stand. This doesn't destroy trust. But it doesn't create it either. And, if you do take a stand it may serve the purpose of protecting you or entrenching you as you react against someone. This more often than not creates trust barriers. Take some time to reflect on your standards. What are your standards for a relationship? What standards do you hold for yourself? What do you order your life around? What are the 4 top values in your life? What are some themes that you live by? What are you known for? And then…begin letting significant people in your life know. They will respect you. They will know you more deeply. They will thank you for the opportunity to know you. They will see you as a person of character. They will trust you. They can count on you. They know exactly what is behind and within you.

8. Learn to say NO! Sometimes you need to say NO! Often it is crucial to say NO! Saying NO sets boundaries around you that protects you from being hurt or venturing into territory that will be destructive to your heart and soul. You draw a line. You stop tolerating that which drains energy and makes you less than YOU. You refuse to allow the destructive behaviors of others to destroy you. You build a moat around the core of your life. You do this by informing the other person of what they are doing. You request they stop. If they don't stop, you demand they stop. If they don't stop you walk away without a snide remark, eye-roll or comment. To some this seems harsh, but saying NO is RESPECTED. Fear is the basis of mistrust. If you fear that someone will hurt you and believe you have no recourse but to endure that hurt, fear will prevail. How can you trust when you are in fear? Saying NO, protecting yourself, sends a message to the other person that you will not live in fear. This usually triggers a response of respect from the other person. After all, if you can protect yourself and refuse subjugation to that which is destructive, will not the other person come to trust you and see you as a person who just might protect him/her from harm as well?

9. Charge Neutral. When your significant other expresses something powerfully, charge neutral. Most of us are afraid of strong feelings or points of contention in a relationship. I commonly hear people respond by defending themselves (to a perceived attack), explaining themselves, counter-attacking, shutting down, or walking away. Of course, the relationship remains stuck in this quagmire of mistrust and fear. Rather than reacting and having your feelings flowing all over the place or shutting down, practice charging neutral. Communicate calmness, not only in your tone of voice but also in how you carry your body. Don't speak with a charge to your voice. Control your voice! Say what you must say, state the truth and do it directly and calmly. You can do this, once you master your fears. It will dramatically change the flow of the relationship. You will be able to point out something big, without making a big deal out of it. You will be in control of you. This not only feels great, but your partner trusts that you won't fly or fall apart. You will experience your personal power. This makes you very attractive. Don't people really trust someone who knows their personal power and how to use it for the welfare of themselves and others? Your partner will love the fact that she can trust you consistently to operate from your "quiet center," remain engaged, not back down and speak the truth with conviction and calmness.

10. Dig into the dirt. Relationships of emotional investment, by their nature, bring trials, tribulations, fears, chaos, turmoil, change, stretching and growth. They become the grist from which your life is shaped and formed. Be fearless when faced with turmoil, upset, crisis, questions, and fears. When the time is right, seek them out. Move toward the frightening unknown. Dig into the dirt of your relationship and uncover the treasures. Do you really TRUST that this can happen? The purpose of your relationship is not to make you happy. Do you realize this? Happiness may be an outcome, but your other is given to you to move you to where you really want to be. Obstacles, trials and moments of pain are given as lessons on which you intentionally write the script of your life individually and together. Embrace the difficult. Trust that in this embracing you will find more of your true self. Trust that you are given the resources and capacity to face what you and your significant other are to face. Once you are able to believe and trust these ultimate purposes, trusting your significant other will be that much more easy.
