"Cherish All Things That May Come"

Think Of This;

Imagine this: In your hands is a very precious creation so fragile, so valuable that if you keep on holding it, it either stay or fall apart. But you loved this creature so much that letting it go would be comparable to letting go of your life as well, so much that sometimes you wished it would always be there, so much that you tend to be selfish so as you could make it stay for as long as you want.

There comes a time in our lives that a chance upon someone "so nice" and "almost perfect" and we just find ourselves getting so intensely attached to that person (sometimes even without realizing it!). This feeling soon becomes a part of our daily lives and eventually guzzles our thoughts and actions to the extent that we dagged it as one of those "too good to be true" things.

Then in our desperate attempt to get closer, our efforts are still futile and we still feel sorry for ourselves. One person once said, "Never let your heart run your life. As much as you can always be sensible and let your mind speak for itself.

Try to listen not merely on what your feelings are evoking but more importantly listen to reason as well. "Letting go of someone doesn't necessarily mean you have to stop loving, it only means that you allow the person to find his own happiness without expecting him to come back.

Letting go is not just letting the other person free "in the real sense of it," but it is also setting yourself free from all animosities, hostility and resentments that was long kept in your heart. You have to let go because the bitterness often diminishes the strength and weakens the little hope left, making our lives more miserable than ever.

If i lose someone today, it means that someone better is coming tomorrow. If i lose love that doesn't mean i failed in love, probably it was another mismatch in heaven. No love can hurt as much as the love that can never be....and no thoughts can hurt as much as the thought of a love that could have been.

"REASONS"

Know Why?

Rather than thinking of reasons why you can’t, think of the reasons why you must.
Instead of focusing on your problems, focus on your purpose.

There will always be challenges in any endeavor.
Yet for every challenge, there is a way to get through it.
The secret comes in knowing why.

With a strong enough sense of why, anything can be done.
What specifically do you wish to do, and why do you wish to do it?

Dig down deeply into the reasons why, for that is where you’ll find the energy, the persistence, and the commitment to carry you forward.

Don’t be afraid to desire it, and to explore your own personal, meaningful reasons.
By understanding why, you’ll have what you need to figure out how, and to make it happen.

Know why, and watch the challenges melt away.
Know why, and it will be.

"Importance Of Emotional Intelligence"

Emotional Intelligence

We usually believe that intelligent people succeed in life. However, according to psychologists, the intelligence, in its place, is undoubtedly important, but the success does not depend solely on intelligence. In fact the success depends on a hidden talent which guides us to lead a successful life and makes us capable of achieving better prospects in life. The social psychologists believe that for an individual, to be intelligent only, is not sufficient, but it is also necessary that his own personality should be such that it may be helpful for best utilization of the intellect.

Also, it is a fact that these two capabilities are present together in very few individuals. Individuals who are capable of controlling their emotions and intellect at the same time, in fact, know the art of remaining happy and successful for long periods of time and simultaneously they execute their virtues on the social attitudes.

Those who possess the capability of controlling their emotions, act according to the circumstances, become famous for their hard work and confidence and gain the trust of others. On the other hand, those who are very enthusiastic, impatient, emotional and unstable regarding their temperament, are usually not only successful, but, due to their obstinacy in their practical life and by implementing their own ideas and desires, soon fall prey to a feeling of deprivation and accept the failure quickly.

Those, who, instead of making haste in achieving their needs, practise patience, as a matter of fact, conquer their emotions by their wisdom. This act is the manifestation of emotional intelligence, by virtue of which, an individual compromizes with even worst circumstances.

Emotional intelligence, in fact, comprizes of qualities such as good attitude, better behaviour with others, civilized habits and decency, patience and sobriety. Therefore it may be accepted that we can make our conduct better and mature, by virtue of the above-mentioned qualities. Besides, these qualities also prove helpful for achieving better relations with others, better performance, successful married life, and higher goals regarding social and economic aspects of life.

Out of us, those who are capable of understanding that what may be the reaction of others in response to any matter, can lead their lives in a better way. Many of us, in states of anger, anxiety, frustration and hardship, do not care that such frank expression of emotions may cast what type of impressions on others who are associated with them. But those who possess the emotional intelligence can exercise self-control in such situations and if there is a need of emotional expression, they do adopt a suitable way for expressing their emotions To express anger, is an easy job, but Aristotle says
‘’ On the right person, at right time and for a right purpose, it is not easy to express anger in a right manner.’’

If we observe ourselves collectively , we would find that we are such a nation which is least capable of expressing emotional intelligence. We do not have the moral courage for accepting realities. Our tendency to fulfil our needs and wishes, over night,, leads us to the indecent and dishonest acts. And we must appreciate that by adopting such undesireable actions, the success and happiness which is achieved is not long lasting. Nothing is achieved except bad reputation and repentance .

We have many shortcomings regarding moral and conduct, because we want our will to be implemented in all matters and do not allow others to have their due rights. We do not attach any importance to the likings or dislikings of others. We do not respect others and do not pay regards to them. We are gradually running short of many virtues as conduct, decency and gentleness.

To find out the faults of others and dig out the secrets about their short comings, has become our favorite past time. We are deceitful, accuse others and are negligent in routine responsibilities. Inspite of doing all this, we, instead of feeling ashamed, about our wrong, indecent and illegal acts, we think that we are on the right path. All this , is a definite proof of our inferior emotional intelligence. Nevertheless , we should remain hopeful, because, according to psychologists, by making firm decisions and practising perseverance , we can improve the emotional intelligence.

Love and Logic

Love Thyself

It is a fact that if you can't love yourself you cant love anyone else. Self-esteem is also a key ingredient for a healthy relationship. It is good to lean on your partner for reassurance but you, as an individual should be strong to support your relationship through any kind of crisis.

Mutual Love

First of all for a relationship to exist, two people should like each other. And love of all relationships is not static one. If you are in love with each other and agree on what each of you think and behave then a relationship will not have too many problems. Encouraging words help in supporting and building trust and respect.
Spend Quality Time

These days the importance of things can be measured with the amount of time spent on it. It so happens that couples more time initially in a relationship. Later they get busier with other things in life. When this happens it is time for both to sit down and make a priority list. Spending less time together can cause couples to drift away.

Communicate

Communication is the core of any relation ship, more so in the case of a love relationship. It is through communication that you can tell your partner what you are thinking, what you want. Talking can also make a relationship strong as there will also be intellectual bonding as well. It is also important to say things openly and honestly. Communication also includes listening to your partner patiently.

The real friend is the one who gives you pepper, not butter.

Dear, 'friendship' is just a simple word, but not simple to make.

When I try to make this with a stranger, I can't resist, I feel... as if distraction of mind is roving behind my eyes. I think, why I'm doing this- may be, I am so much in confusion; what you decide that noway depends on me, but, it is true that I have to change my views on a way to feel.

I am an authentic gentleman. I can never pretend to be something else. What I am going to tell you, you may be surprised, but I don't have any option without telling you the truth. Before making friendship why don't you face the reality?

It doesn't seem incredible, if there are few matters in this life about which it is safe to dogmatize or lay down the law. And there are, as we all know, practically no rules without exceptions. But if one safeguards the statement by this proviso, it can be laid down as a rule of life that real friendship between man and woman is impossible.

Now this statement is not derogatory either to man or to woman. It is simply a fact based upon the laws of Nature. It is inevitable. What friendship contains, we know better. And that is where the trouble comes in.

A girl who is keen on sport, for instance, finds a man who shares her tastes. They are thrown together by their common interests, and they become friends. She is the kind of girl, perhaps, whom men call a 'ratting good sort'.

There is 'no nonsense about her', they say.

And by that they mean a very high compliment. They mean she is not the sort of girl who wants to flirt with every man she meets; that she is the kind of girl to whom a man can talk without her imagining that he is in love with her; and that she is a girl who can talk intelligently about the things that interest men.

There is a great virtue, from a man's point of view, in being able to talk about things, and not people. There are hundreds of women who have no interest in a conversation unless it is personal.

Well, this 'jolly good sort' and the man whom we will also suppose is a 'good sort' become friends. They play games together and see as much of each other as they can. What happens? Well, first of all, even if they have no idea of love-making themselves, the idea is soon put into their heads by the remarks of other people. "Oh, they are always together," says one. "Are they engaged?" says another. "If they are not they ought to be," says a third. You know the kind of thing.

At any rate, the man soon realizes that by his friendship he is compromising the girl, and only two courses are open to him- either to propose to her or gradually to cool off and drift away. Perhaps, in a rare instance, both part unscathed.

But how often does this happen? In 99 cases out of 100 either the man or the woman suffers. He cares and she doesn't, or vice versa. And when, as we see is more frequently the case, it is the woman who comes to care as a result of this platonic friendship, she has to suffer in silence.

We believe there are exceptions to every rule, as these have been seen in numerous history and biography records of noble men and women who have a genius for friendship. We don't always know both sides of the story. But cases there are, no doubt.

It must be admitted that a man can feel this platonoc friendship very often for a plain or unattractive woman who has no physical charm for him or makes no appeal to his senses. If a man sees a pretty woman often and he becomes at all attached to her, it is natural that he should wish to take her in his arms and kiss her. If he has no such inclination he is something more or less than man.

When can one be sure of a platonic friendship? The answer is, Never. When these friendships do go on, apparently successfully, for long years, it is often because each sex is trying to be both sexes at once. The result is a confusion more untruthful than any convention. It is built upon pretence.

Enfin!

But things sometimes change more than we think. Few days ago one of my friends, a beautiful lady, wrote me a nice letter, I want to share with you.

"Friendship is a special gift given to us all. The smile of a friend is sunlight on a cloudy day, and every smile given to a friend is returned. A friend is one whom you can talk to, and listen to, without judging.

A friend doesn't ignore your faults but accepts them as part of you. A friend is a shoulder to lean on when you need support, A pat on the back when you do well, and a sympathetic ear when you fail. A friend is a person you can laugh with about everything, you can cry with without shame, and whom you trust completely. A friend is a partner in life and a part of you always and forever..."

At last, I want to tell you one thing. I very much dislike the word- 'flirtation'. However, a self-introduction to a lady can only be classified as a flirtation when it is characterised by undignified manner, by a lack of gentlemanliness. You will agree with me instantly that there was nothing ungentlemanly in my approach.

In fact, in the accepted sense of the word, there was really no 'approach'.

"Love Can Move Mountains"

Love Is a Many Splendored Thing

Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing

Love Is a Many Splendored Thing

Lessons "Love Comes Softly" can teach us...

The word "love" has many meanings to many people. The New Testament's First Corinthians letter sums up love's attributes by saying, "Love is patient and kind; it does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; is not irritable or resentful..." (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)

In this spirit comes a new DVD collection of the much-cherished "Love Comes Softly" series, produced and directed by Michael Landon Jr. and based on the classic books by Janette Oke. In the series, a recently-widowed pioneer woman named Marty is forced into an initially loveless marriage of convenience in order to provide for her unborn child. Marty's powerful journey discovering her faith through the loving qualities of patience, trust and acceptance brings to life timeless themes of hardship, compromise, grief and hope. Though set against the backdrop of the pioneer West, her story resonates equally in today's world.

For Marty, uniting her new family in love wouldn't have been possible without a growing faith in God. These movies got us thinking about love's divine nature, so we asked our Beliefnet community to tell us what love means to them. Find out what they had to say.

Love Is...Our Reason for Being

Love Is Our Reason for Being "I think love is the entire purpose of life. I think love is God expressing himself through us. When it comes with attachments and jealousies and etc., I think that is where we are inserting ourselves into the mix and not letting love (God) flow through without obstruction.

I think, as we grow on our spiritual journey, we are more and more able to let that love flow through us without the human limitations."

Love Is...Simple Gestures That Speak Volumes

Love Is Simple Gestures That Speak Volumes"In my day-to-day life, love is quite simple. I see its strength in my life when I am drifting off to sleep with my head on my lovely boyfriend's lap and he is faithfully scratching my back even though he's had a long hard day too. Or when I get home from a long day at work, a day when my boss has yelled and I have cried, and my sweet little kitty jumps up when I get home and bends her head for me to kiss it. Or when my mum buys some flowers and leaves one perfect little bud in a vase by my bed--just because. It's those things that spell out love, at least for me, each day."

Love Is...Taking Action

Love Is Taking Action

"It's action. I started my life with an idea that it was tied to 'how I felt.' I found myself unable to love, just based on how I felt.

Today, my focus is more on principle--do I accept? Do I do things for the person? Do I forgive? Forgiveness is huge. I might suggest it isn't really love until I have to forgive. It's pretty easy to love people who do what you want and never frustrate you. [When I forgive] I can say I love, even when my emotions might not match up with how I think love ought to 'feel.'"

Love Is...Humility In Hard Times

Love Is Humility In Hard Times "The word humility comes to mind. It wasn't until I became sick and then later caring for my mom 24/7 and watching her deteriorate from Alzheimer's Disease that I finally felt I knew the true meaning of love. She became the child I never had and [I] watch[ed] her throughout the years slowly decline from this horrendous disease but [I was] always thankful to God that she knew who I was and the day she finally passed, being there with her holding her hand...to me that is the greatest gift I have been given and that is the essense of 'love' to me."

Love Is...Putting Others First

Love Is Putting Others First "To me, love is being able and willing to put oneself aside in order to serve the needs of another...family, friend, neighbor, stranger or foe. To quiet that voice in your head with the to-do lists, the have-to-go reasons and the must-haves, and live in the present moment with that individual. It could be listening (really listening) to an old man recounting the adventures of his youth or taking the time to understand a person you don't even like, to see what she/he sees and maybe why. All people are precious to God and therefore worth both your time and care."

Love Is...Compassion

Love Is Compassion "Love is one thing, but there are many types of love. There's friendship and romantic love. I would say that compassion is also a form of love, probably the one that will save us as a species and save our planet.... I believe the original sin was selfishness.... I can't think of any factor more than selfishness that causes so much suffering in the world today. Some believe love and hate are opposites. I believe love and selfishness are. Love is sharing, and compassion, and right action. All the good stuff and none of the bad."

Love Is...Unconditional

Unconditional "Love means accepting someone just as they were created, unconditionally. It means loving someone no matter what they say or do. Love DOES mean having to say you are sorry, if you love someone with a big ego."

Love Wears Different Faces In Different Places

Love Wears Different Faces In Different Places "I believe 1 Corinthians is speaking of all the different faces love can wear. I mean when you think of the love of a mother to her child, doesn't that take patience, kindness, etc? Relationships--husband/wife, girlfriend/boyfriend, etc--will take you through each and every one of the different faces of love on a daily basis. I think the idea is to be present as much as you can be from where you are and remember that you really don't want to hurt this person you love so much. Count to 100, temper your words, breathe and decide to have a conversation with this person and try to see their point of view and then help them understand yours. No promises--you may not come to an agreement--but you have given of yourself beyond your comfort zone, you have extended yourself in love to this very important person in your life. Love does take on many faces and sometimes it isn't easy to get to, but it is there."

"Lessons in Life"

Something i have learned in life....

NOT ALL THINGS THAT YOU WANTED, THOUGH YOU WORKED HARD JUST TO HAVE IT,IS ALWAYS MEANT TO BE YOURS..SOMEHOW YOU ALSO LOSE...........BUT WHEN YOU LOST SOMEONE OR SOMETHING,THERE WILL COME A BETTER ONE THAT SURELY YOU DESERVE MORE THAN ANYTHING...

PATIENCE IS VIRTUE...BEST LESSON IVE LEARNED....."NEVER LET SOMEONE BE YOUR PRIORITY WHILE ALLOWING YOURSELF TO BE JUST THEIR OPTION....SOMETIMES THE BEST WAY TO BE STRONG IS TO ADMIT THAT YOU ARE WEAK...THAT YOU CAN'T

DO EVERYTHING ON YOUR OWN....WHEN YOU ARE EXPERIENCING PAIN...DON'T IGNORE YOUR FEELINGS...FEEL THE PAIN UNTIL IT HURTS YOU NO MORE...REMIND YOURSELF THAT IT'S OKAY TO CRY BECAUSE WHEN THE STORM HAS PASSED YOU WILL NATURALLY EMERGE AS A STRONGER AND BETTER PERSON.......WHEN YOUVE FOUND A REASON TO WALK AWAY NEVER LOOK BACK JUST KEEP WALKIN.......IT'S BETTER GET LOST MOVING ON THAN TO GET STRUCK AND STRANDED BROKEN....

TRUST SHOULD BE LIKE THE FEELING OF A ONE YEAR OLD BABY...WHEN YOU THROW HIM IN THE AIR HE KNOWS YOU WILL NEVER LET HIM FALL.....SLEEPING IS A RELIEF....AN ESCAPE FROM THE TRUE WORLD....COZ WHO WOULD EVER WANT A DAY AWAKE WHEN REALITY IS FAR FROM WHAT THE HEART WANTS....SINCERITY IS A FRANKNESS OF HEART..WE FIND IT IN VERY FEW PEOPLE,AND WHAT WE USUALLY SEE IS ONLY A DELICATE DISSIMULATION TO GAIN THE CONFIDENCE OF OTHERS...

"OUR SPECIAL SOMEONE ARE THE SPICES OF OUR LIVES, WITH OUT THEM LIFE WOULD BE SO BLUNT!!!TOO BAD THEY HAPPEN TO BE TOO SPICY THAT OFTEN GET US TEARY-EYED.........SOMETIMES,LIFE HAS A CRUEL WAY OF PUTTING THINGS TOGETHER...MAYBE IT'S BETTER IF PEOPLE JUST GIVE UP WHEN THERE'S NO POINT IN FIGHTING FOR SOMETHING ANYMORE...

WHEN THE SHIP HAS FINALLY SAILED, ONLY A FOOL WOULD GO AFTER IT WHEN IT'S ALREADY MILES AWAY...BUT SOMETIMES, IT'S A LOT BETTER TO BE A FOOL TO GO AFTER WHAT WE WANT AND NEED RATHER THAN TO REGRET EVERYTHING IN THE END BECAUSE WE NEVER EVEN TRIED....-CAPT JACK SPARROW.....STAYING W/ SOMEONE YOU REALLY LIKE EVEN IF IT'S BETTER LETTING GO IS LIKE STANDING UNDER THE RAIN...IT'S FEELS GOOD BUT YOU KNOW IT WILL MAKE YOU SICK......

TWO OF THE HARDEST TESTS IN LIFE:

1) THE PATIENCE TO WAIT FOR THE RIGHT MOMENT....&

2) THE COURAGE TO ACCEPT THAT YOU'VE WAITED FOR NOTHING.......THE RAIN FALLS BECAUSE THE SKY CAN NO LONGER HANDLE IT'S HEAVINESS...JUST LIKE TEARS ....IT FALLS....BECAUSE THE HEART CAN NO LONGER HANDLE THE PAIN....

QUESTION...WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TELL SOMEONE YOU LOVE HIM/HER.....

ANSWER:....BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES....SMILE AT INSULTS...LAUGH AWAY ANGER & YOUR SOUL WILLFOREVER BE AT PEACE...REMEMBER THE LINE ON PRINCESS DIARIES?NO ONE CAN EVER HURT YOU W/O YOUR CONSENT....A NICE THOUGHT....

THOSE NIGHTS WHEN YOU CAN'T SLEEP...IT MIGHT BE BECAUSE YOU'RE AWAKE IN SOME ONE ELSE'S DREAMS...TAKE TIME TO LISTEN TO YOUR HEART SOMETIMES YOU NEED NOT TO ASK YOURSELF WHO YOU REALLY LOVE MOST BUT ASK YOURSELF WHO REALLY MAKES YOU HAPPY AND WHO MAKES YOU FEEL LOVED....

"We Need To Learn From Our Mistakes"

Learn From Your Mistakes

Life is like a giant puzzle. Each of us has a picture in our minds of how our lives will turn out. We keep adding pieces, one at a time, attempting to create that beautiful picture.

If one piece does not fit, we replace it with another. We never get all the pieces in the right place on the first try.

It's all about experimenting until each piece fits together with the next.Though our futures may not be clear or turn out exactly as we expected, each of us has the strength inside to put the puzzle together.

We just have to look for the right pieces. It may seem impossible, but keep striving.
Life's pieces have a way of falling into place when you least expect it.

Keep on beginning and failing. Each time you fail, start all over again, and you will grow stronger until you have accomplished a purpose - not the one you began with perhaps, but one you'll be glad to remember.

Setbakcs and disappointments are something we all experience at one time or another.

But if you refuse to believe in failure, you'll be able to find a way to open up all those doors that at one time you thought were closed to you forever.

If you mark something down as a failure, then that's what it will be.

But if you make up your mind to get the better of the situation, an experience that you once labeled as a failure can become another steppingstone toward happiness.

So the next time something doesn't turn out exactly as you'd hoped, turn it around, be a fighter.

Remember: it's the people who can turn a negative into a positive and bounce back who really get ahead in life.

"Don't Rush Into Conclusion"

THINK TWICE
One night there was a woman at the airport who had to wait for several hours before catching her next flight. While she waited she bought a book and a pack of biscuits to spend the time. She looked for a place to sit and waited. She was deep into her book, when suddenly she realized that there was a young man sitting next to her who was stretching his hand, with no concern whatsoever, and grabbing the pack of cookies lying between them.

He started to eat them one by one.Not wanting to make a fuss about it she decided to ignore him. The woman, slightly bothered, ate the cookies and watched the clock, while the young and shameless thief of biscuits was also finishing them. The woman started to get really angry at this point and thought "If I wasn't such a good and educated person, I would have given this daring man a black eye by now."Every time she ate a biscuit, he had one too.

The dialogue between their eyes continued and when only one biscuit was left, she wondered what was he going to do. Softly and with a nervous smile, the young man grabbed the last biscuit and broke it in two. He offered one half to the woman while he ate the other half.Briskly she took the biscuit and thought, "What an insolent man! How uneducated! He didn't even thank me!" She had never met anybody so fresh and sighed relieved to hear her flight announced.

She grabbed her bags and went towards the boarding gate refusing to look back to where that insolent thief was seated. After boarding the plane and nicely seated, she looked for her book which was nearly finished by now. While looking into her bag she was totally surprised to find her pack of biscuits nearly intact. "If my biscuits are here", she thought feeling terribly, "those others were his and he tried to share them with me." Too late to apologize to the young man, she realized with pain, that it was her who had been insolent, uneducated and a thief, and not him.How many times in our lives, had we know with certainty that something happened in a certain way, only to discover later that it wasn't true?

How many times has our lack of trust within us made us judge other people unfairly with our conceited ideas, often far away from reality. Abdullah bin Abbas (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Prophet(sallAllahu alaiyhi wassallam) said:do not be envious of one anotherdo not artificially inflate prices against one another do not hate one another do not shun one another do not undercut one another in business transactionsand be as fellow-brothers and servants of Allah. A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He neither oppresses him nor humiliates him nor looks down upon him. Piety is here - and he pointed to his chest three times. It is evil enough for a Muslim to hold his brother Muslim in contempt. All things of a Muslim are inviolable for another Muslim: his blood, his property and his honour.

About Differences In Relationships

It’s the things in common that make relationships enjoyable, but it’s the little differences that make them interesting.

"How Differences Can Help Your Relationship"

Have you ever wondered why you are in a relationship with someone who is so different from you?

Most people when they get into relationships have an unspoken andeven unconscious agenda that they want to make the other person justlike them. The thought is--"Everything would be okay if you're justlike me, if you like what I like and if you do things the way I likethem to be done."It may seem obvious--but we have to say it anyway--no two peoplealike. No matter how similar you think you are when you get into arelationship and how well matched, you are two radically different people.

What we have seen over and over--and we're sure you have too--opposites do attract. Many people come into relationship with someone who may appear to bethe same but sooner or later they discover just how different theyare and they end up being irritated about it.The truth is that we all come into relationships to grow and if weare with someone who is very different from us, we have the choice asto how we react to those differences.

We can either come from aplace of fear, righteousness and judgment or from a place of love andgrowth. What we have discovered is when differences come up, instead ofmaking that person wrong, you have to embrace the differences betweenthe two of you and use them to create a better relationship.Sound impossible? It isn't and here's why.

The two of us have very similar interests and values when it comes to learning about love, relationships and spirituality. At the very core of us, there is a strong "glue" that holds us together. We are also very different people with very different ways of looking at life. This fact often makes being married business partners a challenge!Through the years, we have learned and are still learning how to usethese differences as growth opportunities.

Here are some tips that we've discovered as we've worked with these differences daily to create powerfully together instead of being atodds and critical of one another:

1. Open to possibilities

When you are closed to the ways of other people and only focus on how you've always done things, there's no growth. Begin by opening tohearing that someone else may have a different way of doing somethingand a different opinion. Being open means breathing, sitting, facingone another in an open way and making eye contact. Be open tochanging a viewpoint, a way of doing something or even a value if it no longer serves you. It doesn't mean giving up being who you are but it means expanding who you are. Shift into an attitude of wonder.

2. Let go of needing to be right

All of us like to be right but when there are differences, we suggest you put that "rightness" aside. When we have hung onto being right, it's been helpful for us to go back to the thought--"Will this attitude move me closer to what I want or further away." Since what we want is a closer connection, we usually can let go of being right pretty quickly.

3. Listen without judging

This is a hard one but really necessary. Take turns talking and don't interrupt each other. Listen to each other and make an attemptto use "yes and" instead of "but" whenever possible. When you bothfeel heard, you will come up with a better solution to yourdifferences than you could have if you had stayed in your "rightness."

4. Ask "What Can I learn from you?"

This is truly the secret that we've found to dealing with our differences. Ask yourself "What can I learn from you that will helpme to grow?" and then listen to what comes up inside you.Shifting your attitude from blame to an openness to learning hastransformed our relationship and we know it can yours too. This week, whenever you are "hit" with someone's differences, changethe way you normally look at those situations. Shift from annoyance, anger or judgment to openness, wonder and love. We think you'll seea positive change in your relationships and life.

"Love In The Heart Of Art"

How I think of love..

I wish I could say i wrote this."
The dark is generous

Its first gift is concealment: our true face lie in the dark beneath our skins, our true hearts remain shadowed deeper still.

But the greatest concealment lies not in protecting our secret truths, but in hiding from us the truths of others.

The dark protects us from what we dare not know.

Its second gift is comforting illusion: the ease of gentle dreams in night's embrace, the beauty that imagination brings to what would repel day's harsh light.

But the greatest of its comforts is the illusion that the dark is temporary: that every night brings a new day.

Because it is the day that is temporary.Day is the illusion. Its third gift is the light itself: as days are defined by the nights that divided them, as stars are defined by the infinite black through which they wheel, the dark embraces the light, and brings it forth from the center of its own self. With each victory of the light, it is the dark that wins."

"The dark is generous, and it is patient. It is the dark that seeds cruelty into justice, that drips contempt into compassion, that poisons love with grains of doubt. The dark can be patient, because the slightest drop of rain will cause those seeds to sprout.

The rain will come, and the seeds will sprout, for the dark is the soil in which they grow, and it is the clouds above them, and it waits behind the star that gives them light. The dark's patience is infinite.Eventually, even stars burn out.""The dark is generous, and it is patient, and it always wins.It always wins because it is everywhere.

It is in the wood that burns in your heart, and in the kettle on the fire, it is under your chair and under your table and under the sheets on your bed.
Walk in the midday sun and the dark is with you, attached to the soles of your feet.

The brightest light cast the darkest shadow.""The dark is generous, and it is patient, and it always wins-but in the heart of its strength lies weakness: one lone candle is enough to hold it back.
Love is more than a candle.Love can ignite stars."I wish i could put words together like this its beautiful.

"Do We Really Know What Unconditional Love Means?"

unconditional love! its so simple, yet so difficult for so many people to truly grasp these days. Sure people tell their family and siginificant others "i will love you unconditionally" but what does that REALLY mean?

Love Never Fails

And are people really following that or is it just another statement, phrase of reassurance spoken into the air...People tend to put conditions on love; i will always love you as long as...[insert condition here]...as long as you make me happy, as long as you keep a steady job for our family...as long as you don't piss me off...unconditional love is not just pouring all of your love and energy into your one significant other, it is sharing and spreading the love that your soul is made of with ALL other beings on this earth. We are all one and the same functioning entity living this existence right now at this very second.

We are all trying to survive, and be happy, love, and be loved so why not make it easy on ourselves and help the positive vibrations flourish by automatically loving every being!...now you may think i sound like just some crazy love-spreading hippie, but realistically i just want to bring awareness to something so simple, yet so overlooked. It is natural it seems to have people whom you disagree with or do not care for at all, but crazy enough you still have to have love for them as human beings because, all people are just people DOING THE BEST THEY CAN AT THE LEVEL OF CONSCIOUSNESS THEY ARE AT.

We are all on the path to enlightenment, whether everyone understands that or not. We are all simply at different mile markers down the same path and we can not judge a person or put them down for not walking the same speed that we are walking down the path. All must be excepted and loved UNCONDITIONALLY for simply being a part of the same existence and energy force as we are a part of. The Beatles had it right ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE...

"Reality Is Hard To Accept,Acceptance Is Facing Reality"

You Are The One,Te Amo

Of Life & Love, The Self and Reality

Every person will need to find four people in their lives. The First person is you. The Second person is the one you love most. The Third person is the one who loves you most. And the Fourth is the one you spend the rest of your life with. In life, firstly you will meet with the one you love most, and learn how love feels. Because you know how love feels, so you can find the person who loves you most. When you have experienced the feeling of loving others and being loved, you will then know what it is you need most. Then you will find the person who is most suitable for you, to be able to spend the rest of your life with.

Sadly, in real life, these three people are usually not the same person. The one you love most doesn't love you. The one, who loves you most, is never the one you love most. And the one you spend your life with, is never the one you love most or the one who loves you most. He is just the person who happens to be at the right place at the right time. Which person are you in other people's life?

No person will purposely have a change of heart. At the point in time when he loves you, he really loves you. But when he doesn't love you anymore, he really doesn't love you anymore. When he loves you, he can't pretend that he doesn't. Same goes, when he loves you no more, there's no way he can pretend he loves you.

When a person doesn't love you and wants to leave you, You must ask yourself if you still love him. If you also don't love him anymore, do not keep him just to save your pride. If you still love him, you should wish him happiness, and hope that he will be with the one he loves most, not stop him from it. If you stop him from finding true happiness with the one he loves, it shows you already don't love him. And if you don't love him, what right do you have to blame him for a change of heart?

Love is not possessive. If you like the moon, you can't just take it down and put it in your basin. But the moonlight still shines upon you. In other words, when you love a person, you can use another method of possessing the person. Let him become a permanent memory in your life. If you really love a person, you must love him for what he is. Love him for his good points, and the bad. You can't wish for him to become like what you like him to be just because you love him. If he can't change to become what you like him to be, you don't love him anymore. When you really love a person, you cannot find a reason why you love him, you only know that no matter when and where, good mood or bad mood, you will wish to have this person be with you.

Real love is when two people can go through the toughest problems without asking for promises or listing criteria. In a relationship, you have to put in effort and give in at times, and not always be on the receiving end. Being away from each other is a type of test. If the relationship isn't strong, then you can only admit defeat. Real love will never become hate.

Forgiveness, a hard concept

If you scan the daily news you’ll often find accounts of wrongdoers and criminals asking their “victims” for forgiveness. And the same happens in relationships, if you have wronged your partner in some way, it is common to ask for forgiveness. But the fact is that forgiveness is not something you should ask for, instead you should apologize and take steps to make sure that whatever it was that you were doing wrong doesn’t happen again. Once is a mistake, twice is sloppy and more is thoughtless or worse.

Instead forgiveness is a gift that the wronged person gives themselves, a way out of the pain or hurt inflicted upon them. A way to avoid ending up angry, bitter or both. It’s about not holding onto the negative feelings and emotions associated with the person who did the wrongdoing, and also sometimes understanding the motives behind the act, whether it was deliberate, an accident, a thoughtless moment, etc. Forgiveness isn’t forgetting either! Which is very important to remember, and which is why you might be able to forgive even the most heinous crime, but you won’t be able tto forget it, and you might also not feel that you want to have anything more to do with the perpetrator in the future, and yet it is possible to forgive them.

As said before, forgiveness is a gift to oneself but it doesn’t come naturally in most cases, the common way to respond to someone hurting you is to back away and get angry at said person. And many times it is hard to let go of that anger and unless you find a way to get rid of the anger, that anger will end up growing until it consumes you. And forgiveness is just that, a way to deal with the anger.

At first, forgiveness is often very frail and nothing more than a decision to try to forgive, and even small stuff can crush that forgiveness before it even had the chance of manifesting itself. And after that it is like a small seed, it needs constant nurturing and affirmation to be able to break out of the seed, but given time it will start to bud and set out roots and in time it will blossom under your nourishment and blossom like a beautiful flower.

When forgiveness works, you will be able to continue your life without being stuck in a circle of negativity towards somebody who have harmed you, and you will start to heal for real. Naturally some hurts are so bad that they will never completely heal, but will leave scars, that will for the rest of your life remind you of what have happened, but with forgiveness even the scars might fade, but the wounds won’t be continually be kept open by the anger and bitterness you would otherwise be nurturing inside of you.

So to get back to where, we started it is actually wrong for wrongdoers to ask for forgiveness, because forgiveness is not for them, they will have to forgive themselves for doing the things that they have done. But to ask somebody else to forgive you is in the end meaningless, save when that person is your God!

Forgive your ex, it’s good for you

Ten good reasons why you shouldn’t bad-mouth your ex, and why it is healthy for you, your kids and your current relationship partner.
Forgive your ex, it’s good for you

Talking negatively about an ex can actually do damage in places where you might not expect it to. Here are 10 reasons to avoid being critical of a past partner.

Your current companion will automatically think this is how you would talk about him or her if you broke up.

Being the bigger person is so much better for your emotional well-being than being the opposite. It’s helpful to accept that whomever you were with brought something good into your life.
What comes around goes around. Call it karma if you like, but most of us have seen how this works, so why tempt fate? Keep the negativity to yourself.

If you have children from a prior relationship, it’s emotionally unhealthy for them to hear you put down their other parent. Just because you’re not living together doesn’t mean you’re not still jointly responsible for your kids. Remember, children learn by example.

Everyone eventually tires of the same old song. Your friends may be too kind to tell you, so ask them if your behavior is over the top. If after awhile, you start to bore yourself, change the radio station in your head and tune out ex-talk.

Dwelling on the past is unhealthy emotionally. If you can’t stop the thoughts in your head or get past the feelings on your own, it’s usually a sign that you have some unfinished business.

Holding onto anger and pain is also physically unhealthy. Check yourself out and make sure you’re not neglecting your body and hurting yourself. If you find that thoughts of your ex make you tighten your muscles, spend some time exercising and get a massage.

Feeling uncomfortable is a waste of time. If you’re like the rest of us, you have far too many other, more positive things to put your time and energy into.

If you ever choose to reconcile, what you are saying now will make that much more difficult. It will even make a friendship challenging and, if you have kids, you need to stay friends.

The truth is that life with this person wasn’t all bad. Remember that you chose to spend time together because you had things in common. You deserve to keep your memories as nice as possible.

See this as an opportunity to make your life a better place as you remove a reason to not feel good about yourself. Remember that every time you send out negative thoughts, you are also feeling them.

"Understanding & Appreciation"

Understanding & Appreciation;
The true essesnce of living.

To Understand others is not an easy task for all of us.To Appreciate is to learn to the importance of those who surrounds you then that will be the time we can truly appreciate someone.

Is it hard for us to appreciate those people who has been there all along with us during rough times?

For most individuals don't give importance in showing appreciation to
others, most of us don't think it is important. We always neglect to show gratitude for someone whose been supporting us.Did it not just come to your mind that these people also need appreciation, all of us of course.Who don't?If someone would say he do not want to be appreciated then i'm sure he is one hell of a liar.

There are some reasons why we are hesitant to appreciate others:

1.Pride
2.Arrogance
3.Envious
4.Selfishness
5.Denial

Appreciation is a very important factor in life that helps the foundation of one person to be stronger. Most of us think that life is just a matter of surviving that leads us to questioning our self-worth & purpose in life.Appreciation & Understanding are essence of life that should not be neglected,it builds us a person , it helps us bring the best in each of us.Appreciation inspire each individuals.

Appreciation is an act that cannot be bought by money but the one who recieves a token of appreciation can be so rewarding to oneself.

We should try to express our appreciation to those we think that deserves it.Because it is not just that we are able to help these people have self-trust to achieve their dreams but we are helping ourselves to be more aware of people that surrounds us.

Appreciation is a gift that you can give to anyone without spending a single cent but will be remembered in a lifetime.

Sometimes we expressed appreciation but without sincerity it's better not to appreciate at all.Appreciation should be from the heart. Most of us appreciate others but for the sake of mockery & benefits that we could get from our act.

Understanding is an act of humbleness.Sometimes it is hard to accept others faults but exerting our effort to do so is humbling down our ego.If we can just be honest within ourselves only few people can do this, most of us won't even try to understand,to look at the bigger picture. We are blinded by our ego to listen to other's point of view.

The best way to understand a person is putting yourself in their shoes. Then analyze if you were in the situation what would you do & how will you face your issues. That is the time you can act & give a better judgement.Understanding is simple as it seems but it is one of the most hardest thing for most of us to do.

In realization all of us claim that we understand but we are acting far than we are expressing our words.I would like to tell to those who are willing & open minded.Try to always do what you say because most of us do things that differs from what we say we are .This is a fact, most of the the times subconciously but some are just in denial of accepting things that they are used to.
