Lakshmi Mittal's home embellished with marbles of same quarry as of Taj Mahal



According to Forbes, which has come up with the list of the world's richest people, Lakshmi Mittal's "super-home is embellished with marbles taken from the same quarry that supplied the Taj Mahal."

The steel tycoon is placed at the eighth spot with a networth of $ 19.3 billion in the Forbes list.

In a a write-up titled 'Homes of the Billionaires', the magazine said Mittal's 12-bedroom house in the Luxe Kenisngton neighbourhood in London also has Turkish bathrooms and a garage for 20 cars.

Bill Gates home built on 'Edge of a Lake'

Software czar Bill Gates, who has reclaimed the world's richest man title from legendary investor Warren Buffett in the Forbes list, stays in 66,000 square-foot house.

Gates fortunes are worth $ 40 billion and Forbes said his home is built on the "edge of a lake" in Washington.

About the house, the magazine said, "among its enviable amenities: a 60-foot swimming pool with an underwater music system, a 2,500-square-foot gym and a 1,000-square-foot dining room, which seats 24".

He is at the fourth spot in the rich list with fortunes worth $ 22.5 billion.
